[POLL]Releasing new files ?
Hello Community,
I have THSRO Official files CAP 120 Dated [December 17 2012] latest files before official THSRO shutdown. The archive contain the backup of [ShardDB] and 4 exes [Global,Agent,Shard,GameServer], and some sps need to be executed. Unfortunately i dont have the client or the account db, so if the poll got high acceptance and the files got released you are responsible to get them working your self, I am in no way responsible for any attached files. You agree that when you view the information in the release thread, that you are 100% liable for any and all actions, including the use of any off-site files, based on the release thread alone.
#Edit: This files contain newer features not in the released csro and csror files.

I believe such threads are not allowed on epvp, If you want to release it go ahead, otherwise this is against rules.

The community is not dead, it has never been though these files are useless lol. It's up to you whether you would leave something for the "community" or not.

He's asking to make his mind in order to release it or not. As far as I know that's not against the rules.

Tho i don't see what these files would offer, it's not like people would still play on it if there is no free bot anyway.

Oh well, that is still up to you. Probably, releasing it will not going to cause any activities to the community, unless someone got interested and want to share his interest by making solution for those missing files.

It isn't always about the bot.
The first obstacle is: No client, no account DB. Prolly unobtainable anyways and "lost" for ever. It might be just useful for education or if there are some sort of special stored procedures which we can (try to) implement.

It won't matter at all unless:
- There is a proper bot.
- A proper client is found.
- It's better than vsro 188.
- It has the old job system.
Else. RIP insta.

I'm trying to give the perspective of a player. Like yeah any 'new' / non released files are useful for coders, no doubt new things to learn. But for a player... nah useless

^This pretty much, people really seem to forget how important a bot is these days for the players that are still actually playing. Ofcourse they like themselves some sro, but playing without bot is just a no go.
With the whole jobsystem, I beg to differ. Honestly there was just 1 server so far that used the newer job system properly(and fully fixerinod 100%) and it was amazing. It's actually waaaay better than the current one, people just have no clue how it works.

i actually would just like to take a look into the shard db since TWSRO was always soo fcking clean compared to VSRO and CSRO

just the mixed CSRO-R files was useless in my opinion
