Release a free version and after sell stable version, sure this will require a team work, much time and in the end someone ***** will be ****** and release everything free again.
In the end, you can't control this. For me best option is pay for server files and payable updates/fixes like some Mu projects in the past.

Btw there is a theory that the morpg that the majority of our community thinks is Silkroad Online 2 is, in fact, just a stolen name and/or an "undergorund" deal with Joymax. Not 100% though.  That's the reason for my irrelevant post. I know it looks like sro-it is I guess- but non wipe closed beta should start today so idk.

What do you guys think about that "The New Silkroad"? If it's fresh start from 1 lvl, then it should be kinda fun  Ofcourse if more english speaking players would join.
