ALL you need for SILKROAD SERVER by Haros

Hello,

I've decided to offer all my work until now for free.Below, you will find everything we gathered on the net, very useful things that have helped me to reach this stage, that you find in the archive will help you start the server, which works in proportion of 90%, start all components but are still a few errors which can not resolve because my computer is very weak, has little RAM, we succeeded stabilizez server, but we managed to connect me , Continued to give me error connection.

The archive found:

• File-server as in c + + me.
• Backup to databases / I got all the bases creeate until now for silk and we made a place / silkroad necessary for the server sql server 2000.
• Links necessary server starts, started to be in order from one to nine.
• Databases are backup or you can use to query the archive restoration.
• With what you find in the archive start all server components, change only 79.xxx.xxx.xxx ip with your IP, IP 127.0.0.1 remains unchanged, create databases with the original name of the archive, without carefully backup, create user in taking sql user and password of "certification folder" with full rights.
• I hope that you, those who will way as to how you finish what I started and to provide free and others so that we can enjoy together server.

Archive contains:

• File-server amended Haros
• Databases as back-up or people who knows we put in query format

you have to do:

• You extract all the archives
• User-created and ODBC Data source administrator - for each database in hand-use and user password in the folder certification
• Restore your links and you start them in order of numbers before changing IP 79.xxx.xxx.xxx ip with the real you, local IP 127.0.0.1 remains unchanged

What works:

• start all your server if you restore your databases, create your odbc correctly and put your username and password correctly with full rights on all bases, including on each table in part
• Lines linking the scheme to run the informational component appears to be okay, it connects components between them.
• what does not work:
• errors still occur in the log file components
• I can not connect to the server, I think it's because the computer that I use it, is old and has little ram.

* Database credits go to communities silkroad on forums r.a.g.e.z.o.n.e and e.l.i.t.e.p.v.p.e.r.s. I have a real use.

I know you've done a lot of work on this Haros. I have 3 questions for you about it.
1. Are you sure you are using the correct client to connect to the server?
2 Have you fixed the problem with the Shard db?
3 Do you finally have a complete database?

It's been a while since this subject has been brought up...thought it was dead.
I'm downloading now... Hopefully were getting closer

EDIT: Still getting that Cant keep session alive error.... will work on it after I get up...

is ok man, start my link , server start only 9 conection, and when farst player connect server activate rest of conection

i don`t know how to do that ... some connectionts don`t start and/or i get some errors . If u are kind u can post a guide because i don`t know how to start the server ...

start server in this order:

* 01.Cert
* 02.GlobalManager
* 03.DownloadServer
* 04.GatewayServer
* 05.FarmManager
* 06.SR_ShardManager
* 07.SR_GameServer
* 08.MachineManager
* 09.AgentServer
* 10.start client


odbc:

user haros
pass britcom

create odbc for all db whit db name and user haros and pass britcom

ghive all rights to user haros in all db, including all tables, administrator right

change only my real ip in all folders in all files.

restore all db from my backup folder, is and winrar exe arhive, create farst db then restore from backup, name to db is name of backup

in account db, go and finde acount table and create user and pass for one players,

heh i knew in what order to start the server , you said that in first post.The problem was that i don`t know how to use odbc , a step by step guide for that will be perfect.Have all my respect if u do that and help us start a pserver ...

Sorry, but Filefront is pretty gay.. they dont not allow to "restart" when download is interrupted, so if somebody happend to download this file can you upload it to a better place?.. like rapidshare megaupload etc... would be greatly appreciated.
