[Release]VSRO Mercenary Fix [The Real Fix]

Hello guys ...
Today i am gonna show you how to fix the guild mercenary scrolls.

I found some fixes before but it was based on changing the scrolls to a pet scrolls.

It was written by Ahmed4Evere2U & Egsro if i remember correctly
so thanks to them for at least trying

A friend of mine owns a vsro server and asked me if i could make it work so here we go,
dedicated to MaxMix-SRO and it's admin.

Same goes for the so called "Anti Bot" (AUTO_MOB). It is as well ready to use, but disabled by the client.

Fixing it, for amateurs without ASM knowledge: Just copy the entire itemcode (strings on refobjcommon/-item), change the ID and main string, there you go, "debugged".

I do not think so,
Putting the item in refobjcommon will not do anything at the client .... the packet was not sent from the client for the mercenary ... if it's the same for the auto_mob ... i am afraid you will have to create a code cave.

Maybe if you still have the server files you could rehost?

Try it. I am not saying the solution for nothing. Merc coding is not the same alike the non-player bound AI for the auto mob. Those are 2 different things, but yet being disabled for no serious reason.

all i am saying that if the packet is not sent from the client to server you will have to create a new condition ... but if it is then there is no need ... your solution would of work fine ...
you should make a release anyway.

Thanks It works. Really nice tutorial. Do more with ollydbg it's interesting.

I'm really intrigued about how you can know the proper address to edit. And how do you find it ? Just to learn a bit more of OllyDbg.
