[TuT]Silkroad Graphic Enhancer

Hello,
Searching the net I came across the "Grim D3". I decided to use it in the game Silkroad and, behold, the effects :

How do I get this effect?

It is easy.

1. Dwonload(GrimD3) :

2. extract to folder with silkroad game(replace all)
3. Run silkroad and have fun

Use the Pause key (beside Scroll Lock) to turn the effects On/Off.

How to uninstall?
- Remove all files with the prefix "darkD3" and the file "d3d9.dll".

Just had a look at the .txt file inside and saw this :

Just a copy of SweetFX. Well already told you on RZ that ENB Series is better if you get the right values and if you turn off some Effects Ingame, the Effects from ENB Series are visible / working. Though, I would rather use SweetFX combined with ENB Series since of the Blur Function that ENB Series has and the AA that SweetFX has =)

It's missing also Occlusion and Depth of Field Effects *lol*

I'm not saying it's a bad choice but you're pretty limited with that one, when I used ENB Series I was a completely Noob at the beginning, changing values randomly and try how it worked out.

At the end I got this as a result.



Effects turned Off, SRO Quality everything maxed out except Shadows.



Effects : Occlusion, Depth of Field, Motion Blur, Bloom. SRO Quality maxed out except Shadows.

It's Ambient Occlusion, you can get Occlusion by ENB Series.

It adds Shadows to Objects and Trees or whatever Structures are around.

with the right Adjustment you can get more out of the Graphic then from my Screenshots =)

It may be true that some Effects are not applying like they should, Motion Blur isn't like if a Character moves everything gets blurred out, nah, everything Moves even the Interface.

Other Effects are working, you just need to read the Documentations and voilá you got a new SRO in terms of Graphics.

I use 3ds max I know what it is :P in your picture theres none of it. As far as ENB for sro goes its just more contrast :/

Well than no Enhancer could add it, not even SweetFX gonna do those things xD

Now I wonder what those Shader Files are in the Data.PK2 (Was it there ...?), otherwise we only can depend on "Filters" only.

Those "Dark Edges" are the Occlusion. It adds Shadows on the edges nothing more but it's hardware hungry as hell.

Also Depth of Field occurs when you zoom in, to activate it you must deactivate Bloom Ingame and ya, zoom in and out and it'll look like this.



Showing it with Screenshots is always ... well .. hard to see.

Well its suppost to be darker in areas that light cannot get in so it differentiates from darker to lighter in every part.

That was only ENB Series, if I had used SweetFX .... the Game would even slow down my System at all plus it would look to good xD

Well, SweetFX can work together with ENB Series so you get :

~ Anti Aliasing (MSAA or FXAA)
~ Occlusion
~ Motion Blur (Is broken in SRO)
~ DoF (Depth of Field)
~ Lumasharpen (Sharpens the Image)
~ Cineon DPX Feature

There are more but those are improving the Graphic drastically.

There's a good way to get rid of Noobs which are playing in a Internet Cáfe, put ENB Series or SweetFX in the Client, upload Client ???? Profit! (Just joking)
