Hi everyone im a veteran of Silkroad... i play since the beta... but
since my friend is thinking about to make a Pserver of SRO using the new
VietnamSRO Files... is there a way to not get Sued by joym4x?
in the entire story of Silkroad Pservers only ECSRO Got sued...
SWSRO SJSRO ESRO ZSZC MYSRO and many many other pserver
are Online since 3 - 4 years and never went down or got sued so...
There are my questions!

1.How can these Pserver not getting Sued?
2.Why arent these Old servers upgradin theyr files from old version to new Vsro?
3.Where do these guys host their servers? '' ECSRO got sued and was hosted in germany or china i dont remember "
4.Is there a way to open a Vsro Pserver without getting any legal problem?
5. Where should he host the Server without breaking the law and not get sued?

I heard that if you host a SROPserver in Russia or China you dont get sued because there is no Copyright... Right?

Aren't the people that are opening the new Servers with Vsro files worried about Sue? ECSRO got sued for the server files or for selling Silks with the polish website?
they had to pay to joymax 75.000$ o_O

Question part 2:

i got told that if you DO NOT SELL Silks ingame you won't get sued for hosting a game completely free, BUT if he says on site '' if you want you can donate for keep the server online running '' will this turn in a sue? he wouldnt sell silks for money but he would just open a donation for the server...





So yea please answer to my questions... i wrote here to Ask the Experts for some answers... not for any flame or insult.

Hi i play also from beta Yeah if u make a comercial servers u can get sued but u really need to by popular like zszc ****** sro elite sro and for u sucurity i think a offshore host is the best maybe u dont know what is offshore host but in all a offshore host is a host who accept ilegal think like private server of wow ddos shell botnet all ilegal site u can also host *********** on a offshore and also u offshore will never give u private information to the complaint is all i can say for now

No you can't get sued of vsro server files because it's released and everyone has his little server joymax won't pay for alot of law suits to fuck alot of servers

They were abused by selling gold and silks by goldpl or smth i don't remember it's name and they also removed joymax copyrights from the client it was like ... and they were selling also silk as (SILK) it should be renamed

They didn't remove joymax copyrights from clients they saved it and they're selling selling on another name

1-Don't remove client copyrights/ sell silks under the name(silks) choose another 1
2-well i don't know about this maybe they don't wannabe equal with other ppl ?
3-if joymax have branch where you've hosted your server you're unlucky ...

5-some where outside europe and america maybe russia or smth

Ok i know Joym4x wont sue like all those 100 servers But...
i think they would only sue the BIGGEST servers
the most active and full servers with high popularity
like for example ESRO SWSRO ZSZC BloodySRO the kingli one etc. etc...


why they dont do just like Blizzard with wow and NCSOFT with Lineage & Aion?
those games are P2P and they let people host own server

does that anyhow make a sro pserver immune to sue

1-well there is rusro but joymax doesn't have branch their i think so not sure to not to tell you false info
2-For example Lithuania maybe in france (my country )
