So you might have asked yourself and wondered, what is so special about this server? After all, it's only 60 cap, it must be really boring, right?
Well, in most cases, you are correct, but we are here to prove you wrong.


We, Timlock & Simulation, have always dreamed of making a server that is as close to being old school like the 60 cap days as possible. However, anyone that is making a new server in this time must realize that there is, and never will be, any server that is "true" old school out there. Which why, for that specific reason, we have added a little twist to our server.


You see, our server may have an old school base to it, whether it be from the level cap, or the interface, or even the game play of the game itself, however we have much more that we think should have been added at the time when the 60 cap was first introduced, hence the twist.
Exinta has a lot more features to it than just the old schoolness, which you will read about shortly. You can think of this server as a hybrid, between old school, and new school, and our own unique innovative features.


BUT! This does not imply that we will stay @ 60 cap until the server dies, NO!
Exinta will be updated with expansions packs, that's right, expansion packs. What are expansion packs? Well, simple, if you have played pretty much any other games than mmorpgs, you would know exactly what they are. All they are is a series of updates, that will in future, improve the game play, and make players wanna continue their journey with us, and so on.


Our expansion packs will be chosen by YOU! Yup, you and only you. When we think it is time for an expansion, we will be posting a poll, with a list of options of expansions that you as a player want to see. Once the poll time has ended, we will provide you with that expansion as soon as possible.
Some of these expansions will include a higher cap. Our plan is to continue on raising the caps, because who would want to stay the same level for more than a certain amount of time? Answer is, no one. The game simply becomes boring, and players will have nothing to look forward to, hence the reason why most servers out there die off, for the lack of content.


So, what does this all mean?
Simple, our aim is to be a long term server, we are not planning on closing in a span of month or two just like most servers out there. We are not money driven, however that doesn't mean we are not here to make money, because that would simply be a lie. Money is always a target, but it is not our main target.

In this section, you will find a list of all the old-school features that existed in the 60 cap days. Simply, anything we remembered from the days back then is implemented in here. If you look and see that there is something we have missed, please don't hesitate to suggest it to us, we'll be happy to know about it.
  • Old-school Weapon Glows | Nothing to explain about this, simply old-school glows.
  • Old-school Character Skills | Again, nothing to explain, if you played the old 60/70 cap, or even ecsro/mhtc/sunworld, you would know them, but just to make sure everyone knows. Basically snowshield did not exist, but we've added a lv60 snow shield just to help INTs a little, the snowshield is nerfed down to 30%, so it works just fine. Force debuffs consist only of the first 2, which are the parry/atk rate reduce.
  • Old-school PVP Capes | There is just something that is so appealing to these capes, don't you think? So we brought them back.
  • Old-school Alchemy Window | Ah.. The old alchemy window, so beautiful, brings tears.
  • Semi Old-school Skill / Underbar UI | We tried to bring the old underbar, however due to the programming of the new sro_client, the exp bar will always be bugged, and we cannot figure out a good solution for it, so, we have made a mix of both new, and old underbar.
  • Old-school Character | Even though it's not that much different than the current one, we still brought it back, you can see it in the screenshot section later.
  • Semi Old-school Item Mall | Again, thanks to the programming of the new sro_client, it was not possible to do somethings to be the exact as the old item mall, and so we made a mixed version.
  • Old-school Worldmap Frame | Might not look different to some of you, but trust us, it is different. Simply compare this worldmap frame interface to the new one, and you'll see the differences.
  • Old-school Karakoram Ferries & Taklamkan River | If you played 60 cap, then you would know what we mean by this. However, if you don't, there are screenshots in the section.
  • Seal of Star is the only SOX Available for 7d Items | That's right. The 60 cap did not have moons or suns for the 7d items, only star. So we've disabled them. However, we've modified the stats on it to make sure it's not overpowered. Seal of Star is now equal to the latest tier +1
  • Alchemy | Well, if you played 60 cap, you would know exactly what happens here. If you don't here's an explanation. During the 60 cap, there were no magic/attribute stones. There were no elements, there were no tablets. All there was is elixirs. The only way for you to get blues on your item was from the drops that you get, no other way. So, we've removed all the magic, attribute, and tablet stones. We've also disabled the tabs on the alchemy window, just to not confuse people.
  • Firebull is disabled | Again, did not exist in the 60 cap, and so it was removed.
  • X-Large potions/universal pills are disabled | Did not exist in 60 cap, therefore, removed.
  • Skill Changes | During the OPEN BETA stage, we've decided to add a lv60 snow shield with a 30% abs rate, this was tested and proved to be balance, so we've kept it. We've also added a KB chance to the 4 arrow combo in the pacheon tree just to give bowers a chance. We've also reduced the stun rate on heuksal skills. This was all tested during the beta stage and we all agreed to keep it that way.
  • Union is disabled (temporary) | It was not implemented in the 60 cap as far as we remember, however we might add it in the future.
  • Party Monsters | Disabling party monsters all over the map was not really possible, the only way would be to basically make the whole map as an instance, and then we could disable it. So, we've simply made Taklamakan an instance and disabled party monsters in that area only.




In this section, you will find a list of all the "New-school" features that happened after 2006 to SRO, so basically everything that you know about SRO (or don't) from after the days of 60 cap and to this date. We have chosen to implement the following features simply because we think it will make the experience less boring, and features that we wished have existed back then.
  • Fortress War | One of the greatest features about Silkroad, and we think it will be a great addition to the 60 cap atmosphere. It's fun, big, and rewarding. However, we have added a little twist to it. (more information in the coming sections).
  • Capture the Flag | Another great feature, and also, who doesn't like capture the flag?, it's awesome!
  • Job System | Due to the fact that once again, Joymax fucks us over by hardcoding everything, we are forced to use the job system of vsro 1.188. However, we have made some adjustments in-game that will make it similar to the old one.
  • Avatars | Yes, we realize that this is totally not a feature that the 60 cap had, but who doesn't like avatars? They give players personalization options, to be special and different from everyone else. However, we will not be adding every single avatar that exists in the item mall like all servers do. Instead, we will be making a schedule to add avatars in. Every 2 weeks, we will add a set of 1 avatar to the item mall, and the old set that existed will be moved to an NPC that you can buy them from for an in-game currency, and so forth.




This section will cover all of the new features that we have added. Most of these features are never done before (or at least we would like to think so), and we are very proud to finally announce them.
  • Story line Quests | That's right! You've read it right. We have implemented a full story line in-game through questing. The story line is optional to do, as most people would not want to do it. However, we strongly suggest that you do it, simply because you will be able to level up faster, and get your hands on awesome rewards. Now, the story might not be the greatest, but we tried to come up with something, it's a start okay? Also, the very last quest will reward you with a very special, modified item. (We will not reveal anything about it, you will have to do the story line and see it for yourself)
  • Daily Quests | There will always be a want for something to do in-game. So, we've added daily quests that you can do, daily. The quests differ in each town, and so, each town will have its own type of daily quests. You can get awesome rewards from them, and it is also a great way to level up!
  • Inventory Expansion Quests | Yes, this is a category on its own. Instead of giving you a full inventory right from the start, we took the current existing quests, and turned them into more. Every now and then, you will have an inventory expansion quest that will give you 4 slots per quest. So make sure you do them!
  • Achievement System | Yes, we know that this has been done before, however, the way we are doing is different than what most servers out there are doing now. We have created a new button on the underbar that will take you to the achievement window. This window will have categories of achievements, and you will be able to see what you have unlocked. The window is basically a recreation of the talismans for the FGWs. Since FGWs are currently disabled, we decided to make a good use of it. Now, you can't really view what you don't have unlocked yet, but you can see the list of possible achievements on the website, soon. You will also get a notification in-game whenever you have unlocked an achievement. Pretty nifty, ey?
  • Job System adjustments | As mentioned before in the old-school section, we have made a few adjustments to this. The first one is that the alias name will now automatically be the same as your character name, exactly like it was in the old times. The 2nd adjustment is that there is no cooldown for leaving a job. The reason for this is that in the old times, you can be a trader, thief or hunter anytime you want without having to actually join the faction, so this is done to somewhat simulate that. The 3rd adjustment is that there is 60 total job levels. We feel this will keep the job competition active.
  • Jobbing Area | Well, most servers out there use caves or what not for this. We on the other hand are gonna do it differently. Since Taklamkan is blocked off with the valley, we thought hm... why not make all of Taklamkan a job area? So we did. There are 2 entrances, one for the thieves, and one for the hunters/traders. You can see their location if you were to simply open your world map. You need to be lv60 to enter. The ITEM DROP (not drop rate overall, just items) rate in takla is increased. This is our way of preventing botting. Party monsters are also disabled in here, and the monsters are nerfed down to lv60 standards, so you don't have to worry about overpowered monsters.
  • Bot Policy | Our policy is simple. Botting is allowed in here. However, it won't do you much because the story line quests and the dailies will help you level up much faster than simply just botting. Remember this is a 1x rate server. It's extremely slow, but the dailies, story line, and other quests are there to help you level up faster. So use them. We've also made Taklamkan as a jobbing area to kind of prevent botting. You see, once you hit lv60, you can farm your items from going to Karakoram or anywhere else that is fine, however the drop rate for items is much higher at Taklamkan than it is anywhere else. So we are forcing you to farm there, if you want better items that is. The choice is yours.
  • Donwhang Fortress | Wait, what? Donwhang Fortress? That's new. Well, you got that right. Everyone that plays Silkroad knows that the Bandit Fortress is basically weird and out of the ordinary, so, we have decided to turn it into Donwhang Fortress. We have moved the teleports, linked the taxes all to Donwhang. We've also modified the fortress itself visually. It actually looks like it is Donwhang's fortress. You can see more about it in the screenshot section.
  • Customized Avatars | Every month "we will try" to add a new modeled avatar to the item mall. Along with the set from the old avatars, in total, there will be 2 sets of avatars in the item mall, one that we design, and the other that is from Joymax. However, these new customized avatars will not be moved to the NPC that you can buy from for in-game currency. We want to make them special, so we will make it a reward for the people that decide to support us by donating. Our first customized avatar is called Lightinagle Armor, and it is already in the item mall.
  • New Character Selection Screen | We tried getting the old one back, but due to the inability to change some things, we couldn't. So, we've created a new one, that is somewhat nice. You can see it in the screenshot section.
  • Custom rewards | This is not really a "feature", but were including it anyway. We have made a wide variety of custom rewards. Most of them are scrolls that give you stats, such as HP, MP, invisibility, speed, etc.... You basically get them from in-game currency that you can get from CTF, FW, jobbing, etc.
  • Premium Coins | In addition to premium "silk" from donation, we also have Premium Coins which you can get from the item mall, quests, uniques and dimension pillars.
  • Name Tags | Collect your enemies name tags from capture the flag and fortress war and turn them in to So-Ok for a random reward.
  • Honorable Signitary | Collect these from winning a round of CTF or helping to destroy fortress towers and heart. They can be used to purchase special items located in our NPCs.
  • Premium / Battle Rewards NPC | We created a special NPC for selling "free" premium coin items as well as battle reward items in exchange for CTF & fortress rewards.
  • Changed look for some drops | Again, this is not really a feature, but were including it. We have changed the look of some drops such as elixirs, and our currencies that are listed above, to make it easier to see.
  • Default Run Speed | This is not really a "feature", but were including it anyway. We have changed the default running speed to be as if you had a 100% speed increase skill. This is done because we know the struggle of running slow. However, we have decreased the % that the lightning speed skill gives you to be max 15% for the last speed skill. That way people don't have an over advantage.
  • Removed Drug of Typoon, Drug of Glades | This is not really a "feature", but were including it anyway. Since we've made new rewards, such as scrolls, some of them have speed % to them. So we've removed these ones, and we will be using the new ones we've made.

Innovative Features




We will cover our future plan in this section. We strongly suggest you read this, please!


Well, now that you have read about our server, we want you to understand and know our plan of action.
We will not be staying at 60 cap forever. In the future, we will constantly be adding new expansions and features to the server, some of those expansions will include cap raising. So, does that mean that if you want to stay at 60 cap, you can't? The answer is no. What we will be doing when we go to 70 cap is the following:
  • The current 60 cap server will stay.
  • A 2nd server will be made, with the exact same data and features as the 60 cap.
  • There will be a scroll offered in the one of the NPCs that you can buy for free. This scroll, if used, will transfer your ACCOUNT, to the 2nd server, which is the 70 cap.
  • The 2nd server will have the 2nd parts of the story line, and of course more daily quests and others. However, all of the expansions that do not relate to the cap, or the story line, will also be applied to the 60 cap server. Meaning, if we for example add a new avatar to the 70 cap server, that same avatar will be also be added to the 60 cap. But if we were for an example add skill balancing to some of the lv60+ skills, obviously we will not be doing that in the 60 cap.
  • Once you transfer, you cannot go back! So choose carefully.
  • However, whenever we decide to go to cap 80, the cap 60 server will be replaced with the 70 cap. The cap 70 server will be replaced with the cap 80 server, and so on. Depending on how popular and how our budget is, we cannot afford to have more than 2 servers at the same time.
NOTE: THIS WILL ONLY HAPPEN IF WE WERE TO BECOME POPULAR AND GET ENOUGH BUDGET TO AFFORD A 2ND SERVER. IF WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH BUDGET, WE WILL JUST BE UPGRADING THE CURRENT SERVER TO A NEWER CAP, SORRY!


So again, this plan all depends on you. If you decide to stay with us, we can promise you constant updating and expanding. If you do not, we will still promise you updates and expanding, just a little less.

Our small updates, or expansions, as mentioned before will be made through a poll. We will give you a list of options, and you as a player will vote which one you would like to have first. Once the poll has finished, we will implement the decision as soon as possible.


We have a big list of things already, however we won't reveal anything. We can tell you something about one of them however. This feature will define the server's economy, and stabilize it forever. Did you ever wonder why economies in server are usually so high? Well, this will balance it out because it will set a price on everything and anything. Prices will be defined by players themselves, and eventually balance it out. We will explain more about it in the future, so stay tuned.






This section will cover Exinta's team. The team is very small. (3 people specifically) We hope to keep it small because we think it is better this way. We might add a couple people to the team if this project proves to be a success and eventually gets bigger. Everything we offer at Exinta Online was created entirely by Timlock & Simulation. All of our software was coded by Timlock and all of our in game customization's where done by Simulation.

Is a risky project, atleast to make some money, even if money is not your main focus.

Not many people who played cap 60-70, so yeah, will be hard to make it populated. (Hope im wrong and some old school SRO lovers can come, and even some "new school" who wanna try the old iSRO feeling)

Too bad is not a legit server, cuz a non bot server is the true old school feeling and even with 1x rates, is not so hard to hit level 60 with some patient... and if is a "different" server for old school SRO lovers, why not? If we can turn our mbot / sbot and let it hit 60, where is the old feeling? lol

I cant imagine a 60cap with goldbots running around... just no. Or people with two or three chars doing trades. lol I know there´s no way to make it totally old school but...

And with a legit server you can control better the economy, the goldfarm, etc.

Well, is the only bad thing that i see here is the bot thing, since from what i see, we can use it.

Well, you are mostly true. However, reaching lv60 is not the main point here. Sure that might not bring back the old feeling of grinding yourself... but it doesn't matter in here.


Let's face it, lvling up in any server doesn't matter anymore. What matters is what's after lv60, and that is farming for your gear, and what not, and like the thread says, you can bot and farm for items, but the drop rate is so low that you won't really get anything, unless you go and job in takla, which the drop rate is much higher in. Sure you might be able to bot in takla also... but have fun from getting killed all the time by other jobbers.

Goldfarm won't really be possible in here, again the drop rate is extremely low. You need to do other things than simply just farm in order to get gold.

Not to mention that we have a storyline which will give you a good amount of rewards to look forward to, especially the last story quest that rewards you a special item.


Anyway, it is your opinion, and I respect it. Thank you for taking the time to read this though !

Hmmm very intressting concept of the game u presented here, acctualy the best on forum nowdays i really like this, but rates is abit nasty...

AMAZING SERVER, I cannot WAIT to give it a try, I hope this server launches an lives for a very long time because even if the cap is incredibly low, it's something I can count on. Will possibly main this server, goodluck!!

Sadly, no. Can't figure it out yet. I could really just hide the icon, and delete the text that says it's a party monster and troll everyone xD, but we won't do that :P


Old school... we never said it was completely old school, we always said that it's gonna be a mix of both.


You can't really have old school with v188 files ^^

Nowadays Servers Who Have An Open Beta Usually Get A High Amount Of Players On The Testing Phase, But Once Official Opening Launches: The Server Ends Up With Only 100 Or Less Players Including The Same Players Multi Bots. I Recommend Testing It Yourself.

True that. Depending on how things go, we might end the beta early.


We are not expecting too many bugs, cause we literally tested everything out and fixed the majority of the bugs during the closed beta that happened a while ago.
