Welcome to our topic! Morpheus is a brand new silkroad server promises to excite you. We as loyal silkroad players always wanted to have our own server created in a way that we think is the best. A real silkroad server with a real silkroad gameplay that is not affected from pinky edits. Morpheus is a server that we offer to you almost clean & original. However to avoid <<creative destruction>> with your help and with democratic procedures (polls etc) we will keep updating the server weekly adding features of your choise. By doing this all players will have fair chances on having a good start since they won't have to break their head understanding new features & systems. Additionally adding features week by week will make it easier for you to understand them and avoid confusion and of course by doing this we will keep the server exciting and fun!To sum up with I would like to inform you that we are really excited and we will turn this excitement into creativeness. Morpheus is here to shake your summer!
Why Morpheus 2 is different and revolutionary?
Donations will be disabled, there will be no donators. Donators are simply destroying the game, making silk the main currency of the server. We really want a server that silk will be useless, where everyone will have enough silk to buy everything he wants. A server where the main currency will be gold and all players will have the same supplies. A server that only skilled and experienced players that really deserve it will reach the top and not the donators. You may wonder how you will be able to keep the server alive? The answer is simple, we will use the money we've earned from Morpheus. Also whenever this money finish, we will be based on your solidarity. Morpheus was alive because of your solidarity anyways and some players know this.
The most enjoyable and fair feature of course is giving all players free silk. A feature that most servers can't offer and the truth is we wouldn't be able to offer if you didn't help us before. Happily we can now offer free silk for everyone. All players will have the same access on silk items & item mall. There will be no minorities. Of course some items like devil, immortal, astral & globals will be removed from item mall to keep the server balanced and fun. You will have access to these items via activity & job points. All players can enjoy using all avatars & silk items of their choise. Free silk doesn't mean you start with 9999999 silk, that wouldn't be fun at all. All players will start with 2k silk which is more than enough to get everything you need. However just to be sure you won't miss anything we will also add 3 silk per hour.
Solidarity is the most important value of all societies. Why not of silkroad? Imagine a server where players will be improving it with stuff of their choise. All servers have players with different skills, web developers, designers, coders etc. Imagine if everyone help us with his specialty. What are donations needed if players can improve the server with their own skills? Even if we have everything at the moment we would never reject a better website or a developer to join & help us even more. We need all of you to help us 1st by joining and helping us make this dream come true, the dream of a server without donations, a server based on the solidarity of its players!
Players developing the server - Democratically Evolving
As we've already mentioned Morpheus will be a server providing original silkroad's gameplay but that doesn't mean we won't implement new stuff on updates, of course these updates won't contain gameplay affecting features. Like democracy is nothing without the citizens, Morpheus will be nothing without its players. We will never make any simple update without your permission. Every week (except the first week) there will be polls that you will be able to vote what you would like to see on the next update. The top features/modifications will be implemented. Also whenever we as a team have good ideas about some useful features that you may like we will let you know and ask for your opinion. This server would never survive while remaining with no features & updates. Sadly silkroad pscene is very demanding nowadays and only innovative servers are gonna survive.
Less Bugs
We like it or not many features mean more bugs. The ideal gameplay for us is stable, lagless.
Avoiding Confusion
Having tones of new features & systems make the server really confusing. Players have to break their heard learning and understanding all these features, features that make the server more complicated and as result players are rage quitting.
Fair chances for every player around the world
Silkroad is a game with players that come all over the world. Due to the unfair distribution of wealth some players don't have the same opportunities on learning english. As result they can't understand how the new systems are working as much as other players. By keeping the gameplay original we're giving all players around the world the same chances on reaching the top!
Real silkroad feeling
We all love silkroad as it is. All these uber effects glows stats etc are simply destroying silkroad's enviroment.
Weekly PvP event
Once per week (will get announced) we will be helding a PvP event, you can simply apply by party matching. Our event manager will recall you to the place PvP event is taking place. After informing you about the rules the PvP event will start. The winner will get rewarded with a badass reward!
Weekly Party PvP event
Once per week (will get announced) we will be helding a Party PvP event, you apply by publishing your 5/8 party on party matching. Our event manager will recall the party owner and will ask for the names of the rest of the party members. Note that Party PvP event is a 5x5 PvP fight and not 8x8, and all the winning party will get rewarded.
Weekly Solidarity event
Once per week one of our team members will create a new account and try to level etc. He will come in touch with players and take screenshots of his chat etc. In the end he will reward the most helpful player (Silk & Title) and publish his chat to increase the reputation of this player, a player that deserves our respect. This will motivate every player to help new comers!
Unique event
After announced via notice & our facebook page our event manager will simply spawn uniques for you to kill. You all know how it works. You will be rewarded for killing a high level unique.
Hide & Seek event
The common Hide & Seek event which I am sure you all know. Sometimes it will be easier (Inside towns) and sometimes harder (Outside towns). The player to find first the GM will get rewarded.
Crit event
An EM will tepeort you to the place the event is helding at. After lining up he will start auto attacking every player with a bow. Whenever he crits someone means he lost. The player that will survive until the end will win.
Guild war event
Every Sunday our EMs will be hosting a guild war event for all guilds that have applied on our forum. The guild that wins will receive a huge amount of gold that its master is responsible to share with his members.
Facebook share event
Participate for a chance to win a great amount of silk just by sharing on our official facebook page. Try your luck!
Artist event
Be creative, send us everything that has to do with Morpheus created by you such as (Screenshots, Videos etc) and we will share it. We will be organizing top screenshot events and video events where the winners will get rewarded.
Starting Items
We're offering you a great starting package making your leveling easier & a lot more fun! Don't forget that in Morpheus 2 everyone will start with 2k Silk for free to buy everything he needs!
Silk per hour
Except the free silk you will receive the first time you log in on Morpheus you will be also granting 3 silk per hour after reaching level 80. Keep in mind that our ideal players (players that supported us on Morpheus 1 and never left) will get 5 silk per hour instead as a reward for their loyalty. You may think silk won't be that useful since you can only buy avatars & premium with them and you dont need more than 2k for this but some players want to have more avatars, pets etc. In general silk won't be a currency that everyone will ask for. The main currencies will be gold then job points then activity points.
Stacks
We're increasing the maximum stack per item to help you save space and time.
Regarding Uniques
Who doesn't love Uniques? I am sure everyone does. Every Unique will drop some amazing prizes including silk items. Also Cerberus will spawn on Jangan & Captain Ivy on Donwhang. We've also nerfed egyptian Uniques and added them on the Cave Of Fear. Each of them will drop silk items, 200 silk and job points!
Guild & Union Limits
Silkroad's guild & union limits were created to fit silkroad online where thousands of players were playing. Since our playerbase will be obviously smaller than isro's decreasing guild & union limit is a need to make fortress war more fair and fun. So we've decreased the limits to 32 players per guild and 2 guilds per union means 64 players in total ( 8 parties ). If our playerbase for some reason gets bigger than we expect, we will increase the limits.
Mercenary scrolls enabled
A great oldschool feature that everyone loved. These beloved scrolls were used in guild wars or while jobbing by guild masters. There are 3 mercenary scrolls one including fire nukes, one cold and one lightning.
Encouraging the use of Stalls
Selling last tier items on a shop will get you just 1 gold per item. We've made that so players will use stalls, communicate with other players to buy/sell/trade items and use consignment. We want an active community where players will be active, gold bots are not desired.
Extra farming area - Roc Mountain
Since Taklamakan is not offering enough space for farming, we've customized Roc Mountain's mobs on cap 80 level ranges so you will be able to farm there aswell without getting ksed.
Regarding Titles
Since the cap is 80, you're not able to obtain any title. Everyone loves having a title making him special so we've added some titles given to the top unique killers & top thieves, traders and hunters. Additionally the master of the guild owning the fortress war will receive a title. We also added titles available with job points that you can purchase from the Miner NPC.
Cave Of Fear
Cave Of Fear is a job cave where you can have fun killing players from enemy job unions, hunt uniques to get incredible prizes or farm seal of star set parts (End game gear for the time being). Cave Of Fear's uniques will drop silk items except the normal drops. We're also planning to make Cave Of Fear even more interesting later on.
Attachable Gems
We developed gems to make your weapons even more powerful and attractive! Each gem empowers your weapon with a different way, there are 4 different gems ruby, emerald, topaz & amethyst. There are normal and advanced gems both dropping from cave of fear monsters. Of course advanced gems drop rate is harder. Normal gems can be used on sos weapons and advanced gems on som weapons. Every player will choose the gem that fits more his build to attach on his weapon. To make it even more fun every gem will give a different glow on your sos weapon based on the color of the gem. Of course you will choose gems based on the stat each gem gives and how this stat can help your character and now based on the glow it offers. Keep in mind that getting a gem drop is like getting a sox drop.
Normal Gems - Attachable to Seal Of Star weapons.
Ruby : Gives 4% Physical Damage Increase after attaching it to your weapon.
Put the weapon you want to attach the gem on the first slot of your inventory, after doing this simply click on the gem. You will get teleported and your gem will be attached on your weapon.

Daily Quests
Everyone asked for daily quests and of course we've implemented them! Morpheus 2 will be really based on how active you are. Daily quests will reward you with activity points. With these points you will be able to purchase items like immortal / astral / devil and other silk items that we will remove from item mall so you won't be able them to buy them with your free silk. Also we've thought that since many of you dislike botting to get sos equipment we could add a treasure purchasable with activity points. Opening this treasure will get you a random sos item. It will be like having a random drop but instead of having it by farming you will have it by being active and having fun!
We will add screenshots and more info regarding daily quests once we're done developing.
Decreased all rates
Experience, gold drop & item drop rates were just too high. I am sure none liked these high rates and thats excactly why we're decreasing them. Leveling to 80 shouldn't take just a day. We want to make it a lot harder. Don't forget that free silk will make your leveling even more fun while using avatar, premium & all pets for free! Also item drop rate had to be lower, sos items were just too many making their value really low after some weeks.
Regarding in-game staff
There won't be any GMs in-game. The only members of the team you will meat in-game are Event Managers and Supporters. Event Managers won't be able to contact players and the opposite, they will just organize daily events. For any problems you have contact our supporters. We've decided this since a lot complained about having corrupted GMs which is not true and they can't prove. However just to make everyone sure, there won't be GMs.
Completely Removed FGW
We've noticed that FGW was disliked by everyone. It is true that its a feature decreasing server's activity since every player usually does it solo. We want to focus on features that will make the server activity higher. Therefore FGW has been disabled.
Job Effects
We've created some awesome effects that will be activated after wearing your job suit. This will help recognizing every player's job union easily and will also create a nice enviroment during jobbing.
Job K/D
Killing players from enemy jobbing unions is really fun. We really wanted to make your K/D count since most of you asked. Therefore the player with the best K/D will receive a title showing everyone he is the boss on his job union.
Balance Changes
Some balance changes trying to make a better & fair gameplay. We won't stop nerfing/buffing until all builds are equal.
-Pacheon:
Strong Bow - Craft: Now gives 20 crit increase and has 30% stun possibility.
Devil arrow: Damage increased to 464 - 628.
Anti Devil Bow - Strike: Now gives 40 crit increase and its damage has been increased to 436 - 590.
New Pacheon skill
Name : Magic Tricks
Kind of skill : Passive
What it does : Increases magical damage by 10%
Reason to implement : Helping INT Bowers.
We will also make some more changes on Pacheon since bowers are the weakest on PvPs. We're thinking of giving them debuffs on skills like they had on higher level caps (An example is Celestial Beast Arrows).
-Cold:
Snow Shield: Requires INT for use.
Snow Shield - Novice: Decreased to 10%.
Ice Cloud Force: Increased to 463 - 694 (Would be fun seeing players using it).
-Force:
Force Cure: Added 30 seconds cooldown.
Self Heal: Added 28 seconds cooldown.
Rebirth: Added 18 seconds cooldown.
Debuffs: Decreased probability to 65%.
Keep in mind that if we manage to finish everything earlier we will implement even more new features like new trade routes & areas!
Well to be honest this was the most confusing part. We've decided to disable sun equipment and keep only sos & som. Sun equipment will come later on (update), we really need to make a poll about them since there are many options about the way obtaining them. Also by doing this you won't just simply rush for sun. Seal Of Star is like normal equipment +3 and Seal Of Moon like normal +5. Sos equipment are implemented to give a chance to players that don't really like trading or don't have enough time to have sox equipment simply by farming on mobs (like in old times). However of course Seal Of Star are weaker than Seal Of Moon.
How to get Seal Of Star set parts, accessories & weapons: 1st way : Simply farm on high level mobs (Taklamakan or Roc Mountain or Cave Of Fear).
2nd way : Collect activity points from daily quests and purchase a shiny treasure from daily quest's npc. This treasure will give you a random sos part/weapon/accessory when you open it, it is like getting a random sos drop but instead of botting you get it by being active and completing our daily quests!
How to get Seal Of Moon set parts, accessories & weapons: You can get seal of moon items from our npc named Morpheus Market located near Donwhang teleporter. All seal of moon items require a mix of job points, arena coins and gold to be purchased.
As you've already read about, every week you will vote about your desirable next update's features/changes. Just so you know you can even vote for cap increase. Means if the majority of players ask for a cap increase we will increase it. Nevertheless we won't increase the cap from 80 to 100, first we will increase it to 90 and then to 100. After reaching 100 the cap will never get increased again. Cap raise requires a strong and mature community willing to experience new adventures!
1. After logging in create parties to farm & have fun with other
players,make friends create guilds & unions!
2. Try to be social, you may prefer to grind solo. However silkroad
is a team game, it will be easier for you to level & collect your set
while farming with other players.
3. Show solidarity, give items you don't need to other players &
help the new comers.
4. Do trades, protect trades or steal trades to collect gold.
5. Sell,Buy & Trade items to get stronger.
6. Hunt Uniques to get reputation and amazing prizes!
7. Participate in fortress war.
8. Participate in Capture the flag & Battle arena to have fun.
9. PvP with other players, test your character!
10. Organize guild wars to show who's the boss.
11. Be creative, film pvp videos, fortress war videos, unique
hunting videos, take pictures etc & share them with our community.
We really love creative players!
12. Don't complain about everything, just enjoy the gameplay
and improve Morpheus with your mature behaviour.
The ideal player for Morpheus is a mature player participating in every event, helping other players and especially the new comers, being active by doing trades, participating in Battle Arena, Capture The Flag & Fortress War, voting every week for the features he would like to see on the upcoming update and respect the features other players voted even if he doesn't agree with them. A player that will not give up on the first problem may caused and will help us get over it, who respects other players and religions. A player making suggestions, reporting bugs and of course helping us get bigger by inviting his friends and advertising our server. This is the ideal player, imagine if all of you could be this player, how awesome would silkroad be? Isn't this a player made feature improving the gameplay? Sometimes players can improve the server a lot more than a developer can, keep this in mind.

Question :How will you manage to keep the server online without donations? Answer : We will pay everything with our own funds. The truth is this funds won't last for ever. But whenever (After some months) our funds are finished we will try to refresh them with many ways one of them is to open donations just for some visual upgrades like LoL and also hopefully you will support us.
Question :Why the cap level is 80 again? Answer : Silkroad started dieing died after the cap was increased. Most of us had the most fun when the cap was 80.
Question :Why Morpheus 1 died after a month and why I should trust you again? Answer : We had a bad start some missunderstandings with our protection provider caused many downtimes and leaded on a wipe after we managed to get everything related to protection thanks to some of you supporting us. At the moment we're fully protected and learned from the mistakes we've made. We made many mistakes in all sections
Question :How do you think you can survive with all this great servers coming? Answer : Well we're aware of all great servers coming with some respectful teams. We won't try to discredit any of them. We will simply remind you that on Morpheus you will join only to have fun with some great features we've added, you won't need to spend even 1$ to be as strong as other players. All players all over the world will have same chances. A good example is venezuela players. The economical situation capitalism causes in venezeual is pretty bad and all payment methods they can use are currently down. So it would be tottaly unfair for them.
Question :I am an oldschool lover why should I join? Answer : You may think these new systems we've developed are destroying all oldschool silkroad feelings but thats not right. There are no overedited stuff and we managed to disable that we strongly believe are destroying silkroad. Our systems simply give you more options & fun and are not ruining silkroad's gameplay.
Question :Is the server play2win? Answer : Well I guess having donations disabled makes it completely play2win without any doubt.
Question :I donated on Morpheus 1 what do I get? Answer : We have to be honest with you guys. You won't receive anything on Morpheus 2. But keep in mind that it will be a server with free silk a server where you can get everything without donating. You don't really need to get something back. You may ask why not items or something like this but we all know something like this would destroy the server. In comparison with others we wont just use this money for our own pleasure , we will use this money to offer a great & fair server to you guys. And you should all feel proud about it.
Conclusion
I would like to invite all of you to join Morpheus not because we want to earn money (as you all know there won't be donations) but because the only way you can support this not influenced by considerations of personal advantage server is by joining. Offering a server with all its costs for free is not something easy, but we really want to offer a great & fair server for all players around the world. A server where you won't lose your money at. Spread the world about it, lets get big and enjoy all together a server without donators, you've nothing to lose!
