Want to cheat on a fodder account and don't want your main to be banned? Then use this to cover up your ip when playing as that cheating fodder with this then your main shoudln't get banned. It has been used in many other games to be ableto enter right back into the server.

* took out link didnt want to get introuble. I will wait for approval to post the link.

There's a simple text file that stores your accounts and Chars, simple to detect by Sony or many othe ways.

But what happen when I share my computer with a nother person? other account (maybe fodder). If he's cheating, Sony can't blame the other?!

They ban your station name, meaning all of your chars. But the first thing they do is to corrupt some of your files so that you have to reinstall the game.

Just go in to Start->Run and enter cmd. Then in the DOS prompt you enter ipconfig -renew and you have a new IP.

not really, unless your isp allows you to change it (and are not behind a router - otherwise it'll just change the IP that your router is sending to you)

That only applies to people using on demand internet.

For people that connect with a router to their DSL/Cable - their IP mostly stays the same unless the modem renews a new one with the ISP provider.

And then there are those of us who are on a T3 or a fiber optic (2MB up/down ) whos IP rarely ever change.

Anyways, SOE won't do an IP ban, since IPs do get recycled through different users (eventually).
