PWI character costumization - male hair on (existing) female toon

I'm wondering if there's a way to do that. Currently it's possible to legally put a male hairstyle on female, but only on a new one.
It is done by modifying the INI of the currently displayed character (which are apparently not gender locked), on the class selection window, before you enter editor.
Actual saved presets get an error if you try to change hair to male one, therefore you can't do it for already existing characters.

So, anyone has a clue?
