Cheating has one good side:

-Lazy developers get kicked.
-Game security increases after patch.
-Fair & Better gameplay for all.

And a world with only one side is boring.. there's always two or more groups with different views and/or opinions.

And to strengthen your point regarding "contradiction":
I'm an Administrator at a video game server and I take care of hackers.

I do hacking to improve my technical abilities.
