A graphic card has more parameter than just the size of the memory. There is a very very long list of what kind of technologies are supported by the card and what not. Just because the memory size (which is probably shared with the main memory btw) is big enough, it doesn't mean that your card is supporting the neccessary technologies.

ok so there is no point i cant play the game but i have another laptop with ATI HD3200 Graphics will that work ?

No, as I said the onboard-grafic-cards dont support OpenGL 2.1.

You need a PC with an Nvidia grafic card. They're powerful & you are able to play more games.

Try Win 7 on 32 BIT.
Actualy i use Win 7 on 32 BIT and i play any game was relesed 'till today without problems.
I try once 64 BIT and was sux that 32 BIT on ultimate games. So i reinstal 32 bit version Win 7.
My system is lower than your system...

Core 2 Duo - E8400 / 3000 mhz / FSB 1333
nVidia GeForce 9600 GT 512 ddr3 / 256 bit
DirectX: Version 11
Corsair Memory — 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 Memory Kit

Need For Speed™ The Run
Minimum System Requirements: On NFS The Run README !!!
OS: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) 32-bit
Processor: 3.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Equivalent
Memory: 3 GB
Hard Drive: 18 GB
Graphics card (AMD): 512 MB RAM ATI Radeon 4870 or higher performance
Graphics card (NVIDIA): 512 MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher performance
Sound card: DirectX Compatible
Keyboard
DVD Rom Drive)

And after all this sayd i play it on low grafic settings and works very good with no broken frames.
I get game 2 days ago and in same day i finish story "The RUN"
Now i play the Challenge Series.

It's not the best... but i can play fine NFS The Run,
and i finish this last games on last week
Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and works very good.
I bet i can play even next year a lot of new comming games.

New Nvidia cards are the best ones!

Intel, ATI etc are lower than Nvidia.

You need more RAM. As i say before from game readme:

You need 4GB to run properly and minimum ddr 2 i think...
Buy one more slot 2GB
