Actually Max Payne 3 was supposed to come this March for PC as well as for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. However, Rockstar Games announced that the release date has been pushed back. The developer extended the latency to the third person shooter by 2 months.
According to Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two, this was necessary to acquire the best in-game experience possible. They want to ensure that the game is going to be as great as the fans expect it to be. If us gamers will be given the promised flawless game, the two months more will have been worth it. New release date for European countries is May 18th, however, the PC version will be released a few weeks later on June 1st. Americans are in favour to be able to play the game three days before anyone else is.
Take-Two is estimating a volume of 210 to 230 million Dollar, that Max Payne is going yield until next year.
