Half-Craft SMP is back for the first time since April! Founded in December 2010 by Konner, Half-Craft quickly turned into one of the most popular servers. It featured many great buildings, such as a giant cobblestone stadium and the Red Brick Hotel. Now it is back up, with a fresh world and many caves to explore. Currently there is not a whitelist, so join the community now! You have the power to make Half-Craft the best server in Minecraft.
Plugins
- Citizens (coded by two of our admins - fullwall and aPunch) for RPG-style NPCs
- iConomy for all of your virtual economy needs
- MobArena for fighting mobs and earning fun rewards
- WorldEdit and WorldGuard for griefer protection and creative building
- BigBrother for rolling back griefing and catching griefers
If you want a plugin to be added, just ask an admin in-game. If it is good, we just may add it.
Rules
Server-wide
1 - Act mature.
2 - Don't ask to be an Op, Moderator, or Admin
3 - Keep CAPS to a minimum, and don't spam chat
4 - Speak English
5 - Don't exploit any bugs in Minecraft or Bukkit.
Main World
1 - Don't grief....admins and BigBrother are watching.
2 - Don't ask for time changes.
3 - Don't ask for anyone to spawn you items.
4 - Don't use client mods that give you an unfair advantage.
Nether World
1 - Don't kill players.
2 - Don't grief.
* PvP is not turned off in the Nether World, and griefing is not prevented. However, if you are caught you will be kicked and/or banned
Creative World
1 - Don't destroy others' creations.
PvP World
1 - Don't use client mods that give you an unfair advantage.
Becoming a Member
Before gaining build rights, you must first defeat the Dungeon that you spawn at. To do this, complete the course and answer the 3 questions correctly in the test room. You'll know if you got the answer correctly if a sponge drops from the ceiling. If you answer incorrectly, you'll get doused in water
. Trade the 3 sponge with TraderJoe. Use the Wiz that you gain from trading with TraderJoe to buy a teleport out of the dungeon and into build-status!
Make sure you know all of our server rules and have read all signs at spawn before you enter the Dungeon. When you are done, ask an Admin to promote you. Have fun!
Donations
Currently, Half-Craft is run on 4GB of RAM. This, unfortunately, will lead to lag spikes and occasional rollbacks. As the donations come in, the lag will go down and the RAM and your happiness will go up! Here are the perks for donations:
$5-9 - Iron Donor
- [Iron] title in-game
- Ability to create and maintain 1 NPC
- Teleport and teleport other players (/tp and /tphere) without needing to request with /call
- Access to Iron class for MobArena
$10-24 - Gold Donor
- [Gold] title in-game
- Ability to create and maintain 2 NPCs
- Spawn mobs of your choice (/spawnmob)
- Set the time of the world (/time)
- Access to Gold class for MobArena
$25+ - Diamond Donor
- [Diamond] title in-game
- Ability to create and maintain an 3 NPCs
- Change the weather (/weather or /thunder)
- Shock a player with lightning (/shock)
- Control your home...you can set it, teleport to it, invite others to it, make it public, private, etc... (See MyHome thread on the Bukkit forums for details)
- Access to Diamond class for MobArena
