Schickes Ding. Hoffen wir mal, dass endlich jemand die olle Topliste vom "Thron" schmeißen kann und uns mal eine seriöse Liste bieten kann.

I knew about that, I have just not seen any screens or anything else
yet and since I am not watching the old toplist as much I certainly have

ZUFÄLLIG ist das sicher nicht, es liegt vielmehr daran, dass WoM der
aktuell führende internationale Metin2 P-Server ist, das ist auch nicht erst
seit gestern so. Ich hoffe daher inständig, dass du die neue Topliste benutzt,
da sie die Dinge zum ersten Mal nach mittlerweile mindestens 2 Jahren nicht
verzerrt darstellt. Ich hoffe diese "Offenbarung" verkraftest du und benutzt
diese Topliste infolge dessen, dass dir die "alte" Liste diesen offenkundigen
Fakt vorenthalten hat und somit absolut nicht repräsentativ ist.

Mag daran liegen, dass der Server international läuft und dementsprechend mehr Spieler hat, meinst du nicht?
btw wer hat davon gesprochen, dass die Seite von dir genutzt werden möchte?

WoM has exactly the same votes as it had in top-pserver, you can check it.

I don't want to diminish the importance of the work of my colleagues in the project, but what makes this project different, what we are doing here is putting the marketing knowledge that turned WoM into one of the biggest, if not the biggest, private server worldwide, to the service of the whole community. We even replaced WoM banners we paid for at some websites for Topmetin's.

And why on earth would we do that?

Believe it or not, your server or my server are not isolated entities. Your server gets players from other servers. And if those disappear, yours will eventually will as well.

Top-pserver is hurting the Metin2 scene (well mainly the german one, but in my view this is the most important) by showing garbage like Asima, Novus, Juicy and the rest of Taubbe **** etc. to potential players. Believe me if I'm someone trying pservers and the #1 is that gigantic piece of **** on top-pserver, my first thought will be "If this is number one, how will the others be?"

The final goal here is that good servers get players and bad ones don't. Whether the voting system is a guarantee of that could be argued against, but a non-pushed list is certainly better than what you, we have now.

Leider doch, die alte "meist besuchte" Seite wird immer noch am besten besucht sein und am meisten auch genutzt sein.

Ich glaube, mittlerweile hat keine Topliste ne Chance geben die alte. <.<

Das Problem darin .. das die Spieler keine andere Seite kennen und einfach der alten Seite vertrauen .. deswegen sollte man diese so gut wie möglich Pushen damit es doch noch passiert das die alte down geht.
