[HowTO][DIF]metin2client.bin - HackShield's file checking bypassed

Hello. Today I want to show you my new DIF file. If something does not work please write here, we'll fix it!

This dif allows the removal of the binary file checking. It checks the files PC.epk, PC2.epk and root.epk. (If someone does not know what's going on, that it is seeing what pops up after the error - "invalid file version% s. Please update your game with patcher). After applying this dif file, you will be able to throw the files that only you want, and HackShield will not be yelling and will normally run your Metin2.

It can be useful, as someone wants to leave such a throw HackShield checking files (works on PL, DE etc!). You need unpacked bin - you can download it from this topic.

This difference file is created by The Interactive Disassembler

No comparing, I had that unpacked bin for ages.

A little boring, but not so much ;-)

If you have it for ages, why did metin2 publish it at April( the new bin) ?

First - on April ;-)

Second - I said that, like it should be I have got it for a very long time, not for example from 2009 ;-)

Man it's more good with CRC control, if you change the CRC on your archives it's the same and you have a new protection

Only apply this .dif using iMer dif patcher. (Save string in CODE to .dif file).

In this topic you got unpacked DE, PL etc. bin with my dif applied, works on global servers.

So,in conclusion...I have to make a text file,paste that code you have given to us ,save this text file with the extension .dif...and paste this .dif file within the metin2 install folder?....Or insert this dif using a some kind of program in the metin2client.bin?
