Private messages

Is it nog possible to send private messages for non premium members like me?
Because when i send a message, my sent messages count is still 0

Open the control panel, go to "edit options" on the left side.
Scroll down a little bit and hit the marker for "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default".

After sending a private message, a copy will be saved in your sent message folder.

ah okay, so the messages i have sent are sent, but just not saved right?
