HOLY SHIT! NO WAY!

There's no reason to edit Pleione. Regedit is easier. So isn't checking widescreen support.

Too bad the regedit method stopped working a good 4 centuries ago. Try to know what you are talking about before you post.

Maybe you should read things through before you reply to avoid sounding like an idiot. I said it's easier, never said anything about it working, I didn't care to try it either. It was more making a point to search for things thoroughly. I also mentioned checking widescreen support. Good job.

My guess is it would be a lot more of a pain to edit Pleione than to find another method or just click and drag the corner of the window to adjust to the size you want.

So by your logic, giving someone old, obsolete methods of doing something or telling them to search for it is a perfectly good solution for their problem. Nice. My guess is it would be a lot easier to just tell him about what DOES work and have him search for that. With your idiotic reply the kid probably wasted time looking for registry edits and then failed when he realized it didn't work. So you did nothing to solve his problem therefore your post is basically spam and it's useless.

Back on topic, I heard fastcook let's you resize the mabi window. Most people that want to increase resolutions want to do it so they can play mabi with their resolution on fullscreen. Not like Mr.Genius over here who suggested you just resize the mabinogi window which beats the whole purpose of this because some people lag while windowed that is why they want a resolution edit.

lmfao at blade i tried the regedit and it didnt work. along time ago i was just curious as to where i may look and see if its possible as for fastcook idk where to get it ill try the search as im not a moron like you blade. oh and redjoker im 23 years old idk if thats any importance so dont call me kid unless your like 45 or something LOL. its cool though like i said i dont care if i get flamed on here or not any input is good even if it makes some people look really slow or something yah know what i mean. as for grammer bleh idc.

oh anyways i did check the wide screen rezes the supported ones from mabi stock are

800*600
1024*768
1152*864
1280*720
1280*768
1280*960
1280*1024

now these are all supported ones including widescreen formats as u see no support for 1440*900

=/

so blade what you said was a waste of your time thanks for the input though hope u wise up a little but its cool your probably like 16 years old. Intelligence is gained by experience and humiliation.

ok i looked into useing fastcook that dont help it only resizes in window mode and i dont need that im talking about finding a way to hax the files somewhere in order to add other supported resolutions if its even possible. the reason for me thinking its in the pleione dll is cause well idk when you see mabi loading on the bottom right corner it says initializing pleione engine so by common knoledge and logic points to the dll. i might look into it with IDA and see if i can find anything in the dll with resolution as the keyword. i doubt i can find anything but its worth a try. i might check the oasis dll file as well. i think im going to check as many as possible just to see what comes up.

lol ok new post i found in the pleione dll a section about resolution but idk how to edit or change or anything like that on how to allow unsupported resolutions to mabi here is the section and stuff i found on that dll. oh also im not sure if im allowed to post info like this cause i might get baned or w/e ill read the rules just in case and spend a lot of time reading and re-reading. but if this is the wright place then how do i edit for the result i want. i was also thinking somewhere in the pack file there might be some xml that may lead to other lines and codes that show what res. is available for selection if i add a new line to that like lets say my res or even 1600*1200 or something then it might actually work but if not bleh. back to checking dll files for res info lols even though idk how to edit that junk.
