[GUIDE] Removing CRC bypass from MNG Mss32.dll

To remove the CRC bypass from the leaked MNG just hex edit the Mss32.dll download.

I've looked into it, you will need to use a hex editor to kill this releases CRC bypass bit, At offset 0x705F put in five nops (90 90 90 90 90).

Verify the location with a dissembler if you want but theres a call to the function for CRC at that location.

You need to be more elaborate if you're gonna call this a guide. Lmao. It's nothing but unreadable giberish in my hex editor, and there's like 20 different spots I could change to 90.

Yeah I had a hard time finding the offset too, still haven't been able to.
All unreadable for me too.
Though I'm guessing I'm looking at it wrong.

do this hex edit listed here and set CRCBypassTimeToSleep=25 ; In seconds
to CRCBypassTimeToSleep=1 ; In seconds
in the *** ini and your good to go with those neeto leaked files, Though the blacksmith finish thingy will still crash you, so turn that off and oh i have win 7 and it all worked so yay ^^

What hex editor are you using? I'm using OllyDbg and to be honest, I'm quite new to it lol. I've tried opening up the .dll in IDA first to look up the address but when I try to find the same one in Olly I can't find it. I must be doing something wrong.

I searched for 'E8 BC 06 00 00' And found it, I changed it all to 90 90 90 90 90 and clicked save. put it in my mabi folder w/ the other mods and I can get to the login screen and I crashed when I click 'log in' Anyideas on how to fix this?

My client actually starts up now but the CRT bypass button doesn't pop up and I get HS detected :|
