I agree with what you said in your OP, but a lot of times the game will be decided on the level of communication. It doesn't matter if your team is individually better than the enemy team, if as a team you can't work together.

If you are so unbeliveable good it doesnt matter. Put a challanger in bronze. He is gold in 3 days.
