Just for public information sake,

I've put over $200 worth of my own hard earned money for Riot Points, botted for extra rp n IP boosts and have not been banned, withheld or excluded from the refer a friend program. This is on Refer 1.0 orginally to refer 2.0 as well.

So it maybe riot only bans people that do not put in money, or they only ban people who have not put in $ or have not reached a certain quota...

It's obvious that you can get banned from the Refer-a-Friend access when you use any kind of bot's.
