I hope to see some English speakers around here when the game gets released but anyways...to the Topic!

Now before i do continue on, i will say that i never follow any dates that Anet doesn't release, but since they have completely shown all of the classes, and we can pre-order the game.... Could this be the actual Release date??

Gamestop has set an official release date for this game...Could it be true or another fake date to get people to pre-order with them?
(I pre-order with them about 1year ago so...yea)

I think a release in June could be possible since the last inofficial date was the 28th of June.[before amazon set theirs to september]

Someone leaked a statement by arenanet in which they said

The game is pretty close to finishing, just some high level zones needing work.

Asura zones/quests are coming along pretty fast. Sylvari zones lag you like a mother----- (framerate issues)

So a list of 'big stuff' needing some work to make it readyish for release:

Sylvari zones optimization

Structured PvP being finished (still in development)

Content (lot of quest logs etc missing and tagged with weird numbering like QEB82E and high level zones seem to miss some hearts and such.)

I don't know how trustworthy this guy is,but if this is true we could be looking forward to having the game released within the next three months.

It probably depends on what happens in the next beta weekend and how much work has to be done. Especially the engine needs some work since the game only uses one cpu core right now,but i think they already optimized that for the incoming bwe

We weren't able to play Asura and Sylvari in the BWE or the stresstest.

I couldn't tell you that i knew that because i don't follow them on twitter only on Facebook, and like i stated...Gamestop has made false dates before, and they will probably do it again to get people to pre-order with them, but the date seems a bit legit, even though it might not be the right date, The game is expected to be released in another what? 2/3months?

Just because you couldn't play it on the last beta, doesn't mean that they have not shown us the class and what they are capable of doing...
