error 0x5 HELP

same din ngayun nag error ako pero nkakapaglaro pq kahapon connection q bayan telcom panu kya un???

Ok Here's The Solution.

1. Go to your grand Chase folder(Normally It is located at C:\Level Up Games\Grand Chase Chaos)
2. Find and Delete the Following Files.
a) ResFeedback.Dat
b) NewOption.Dat
c) KeySettings.Dat
This files contains the version of the game the the patcher will download.
3. Your Patcher Should now Work.
4. Patch your grand chase to renew the files you deleted.

If problem still occurs, Try Installing .Net Framework and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)...If still not working Try Reinstalling Grand chase

It won't work for me because I can't even make the patcher appear the only thing appearing for me is this "Patcher is Initializing" then after that an error will occur saying error 0x5 "version file download fail"
also I can't connect to grand chase PH home page as well as its forums.

I think what iya said was right... my ISP may be blocking levelupgames.ph,,,, sigh.... too bad for me I can't report it since tomorrows a Sunday...

ok n ba ung problem nyu??? Click din ako from olongapo, di rin makapaglaro ng grand chase, and di rin makapasok sa site nila.... pag nagreport ka nmn sa kanila sabihin nila wala sa knila ang problema... nakakaasar tlga, ilang araw n ko di nakakapaglaro..

d p din ok... nakapagreport n din ako sa knila... pero wala p din cla gnagawa... p 3days n to... d din makapasok ung RF pati level up sites... tsk tsk..

Huhuhu ;-( 3 days na akong walang attendance nakakainis naman yung click nagreport na rin ako 3 times pa nga eh!! sabi nila every time tatawag daw sila sa main office nila eh hanggang nayun wala pa rin.. Try niyu rin magreport guys.. itanong niyu sa kanila kung bakit nila binoblock yung levelupgames.ph para malaman nila na maraming(chasers) napeperwisyo

kua protocol san po loacation nyo sa gapo kasi ako din click from olongapo di makaconnect 3days na ganto GC sa bahay sa bi nmn sakin wla daw sakanila problem di daw nila pede i block ung site . . . bwisit

ako naman from castillejos. ****,, sobrang dami nang naperwisyung Chasers ng ClickBiz tapos sasabihin pa nila d sila pwede magblock ng site? nagpapatawa ba sila? anun klaseng ISP sila? medyu naiirita na ako kasi 3 days na rin akong d nakakapag OL sa GC eah. Nu ba pwede nating gawin?

nga eh buwisit tlga click kung pede lng sana palit agad ng ISP ginawa ko na cnabi ko na sa magulang ko pero ayaw nila TT.TT tae . . . sabi pa samin bka daw virus nagboblock nung site . . tae

Solution

1. Try Disabling Your Firewall Control Panel>Windows Firewall.

2.

a) Try Editing your Host file. Open My computer>Local Disk>Windows>System32>Drivers>Etc>Host(Open with notepad)

b) Check if there is an IP there blocking grand chase.
C) If there is, Delete that Line.

3) If still not working. Please Post What is inside your "Host" File Here.
