The announcement is a bit confusing as it claims the game is now "beginning Release," but will instead be entering an Open Beta phase until the game hits "Gold status," in which case Mortal Online will be fully released and monthly subscriptions will begin.
The developers consider the game feature-complete at this point, and intend to announce discounts for the Digital Download version of the game...
