Open up the cheat table and browse the memory region at your name. Scroll up a few lines until you find two byte between some zeroes (resembling something like 00 00 03 02 00 00 00). The first byte, 03, would be your character class, and the second would be your section ID. Change them accordingly to these reference values:
CLASS VALUES:
Hunters:
00 - HUmar
01 - HUnewearl
02 - HUcast
09 - HUcaseal
Rangers:
03 - RAmar
0B - RAmarl
04 - RAcast
05 - RAcaseal
Forces:
0A - FOmar
06 - FOmarl
07 - FOnewm
08 - FOnewearl
NPCs:
0F - Ninja (classes you as HUmar)
00 - VIRIDIA
01 - GREENILL
02 - SKYLY
03 - BLUEFULL
04 - PURPLENUM
05 - PINKAL
06 - REDRIA
07 - ORAN
08 - YELLOWBOZE
09 - WHITILL
0A-FF - Black/No ID, but will revert to last "real" ID.
To make the change permanent rather than temporary, go into the dressing room and make the change. When you confirm your changes, they will save server side.
Note: If you change your class permanently, the stats will revert to the set of your previous class until you level up. Level caps will apply to the before and after (so no foneys with Hucast ATP unfortunately).
Playaz, the next time you have a thought...
Just let it go.

I'll add onto this..
The red circle is your current ID, refer to the list above in order to change to whatever you'd like.
The orange circle is your current class, also refer to the list above to make change.
Now, the blue circle determines your NPC. Here's a list of known values..
00 = Ninja
01 = Rico
02 = Sonic
03 = Knuckles
04 = Tails
05 = Flowen
06 = Elly
07 = Momoka
08 = Irene
09 = Bank Lady
0A = Nurse
The green circle value
must be changed to 02 if you're wanting to use an NPC, otherwise don't bother.
The purple circles determines your hair color..
- If you want the original hair of your chosen NPC, change all three values to FF (This applies to Casts as well, so you don't end up with that black hair).
- Also, as a non-cast you can set the hair color to anything else if for some reason you don't like the original's (Just change the color like normal from the head section).
- Finally, for custom colors on a cast just start up a new non-cast character (or enter the dressing room of a current character). Change the hair color to whatever you like, record the three purple values and type them back in on your cast.
Oh to answer your question Emo person, change the Blue value to 04 and the Green to 02 (You don't have to mess with anything else).
I'm done.. k, bye. (Thanks Broom for the edited CE btw and bypass thingy).
