Most Complex PvP gameplay

Hi, I've been trying to figure out what Private Server for an MMORPG to put together from a list of whats on R/Z and anything I may be able to find on this site...

Main thing I'm wanting, is to have a great PvP system that is more involved than WoW's (Kill the other faction just because you see it) or Shaiya's (Kill other faction to raise a bar high enough to get a temp buff).

A couple examples of something I would like in a game would be something like invasions to take an artifact from other nations which give the nation buffs (like Aika), or land battles where you fight to take over lands and collect taxes and gain local buffs from the land you own (Like Kingdom Heroes).

Basically I am looking for a game which has long-term effects from a faction's efforts, not just quick "battle event and done" type of PvP in an RPG.

Can someone here please recommend a private server either from this site or the list of games below, which has something at least close to these lines?

Reason i like this site is because, even if sometimes there is more tutorials on R/Z, this site actually has a community that tries to help people out... I've never even gotten help ONCE from RZ...

Well, Alods is a free mmorpg that has faction wars, "ship" battles (powerful guilds can build ship-like things that fly around and fight monsters in a space-like environment, and that takes a large and good crew, becouse if you mess up, the ship will explode).

Also if you want faction wars, you should wait a little bit, untill APB comes out.

Thanks for the response, but is that an MMO that has a server repack or emu available around here?

I appreciate a good RPG recommendation usually, but right now like I said, I'm just looking for one that I can easily make a private server for...

Don't know what you mean by possible games from other sites but if you didn't try cabal yet,
you could try it now, depends if you like a combo system and freestyle pvp is a lot of fun too.

Thanks for the response... Last i played Cabal, it only had a regular PvP thing in it, just to fight in a square area... I loved the gameplay, but I would like something a little more involved with the PvP than just duels, or even scheduled battles that give points or whatever....

Unless Cabal has added more than that? That would be great!

Anyone know how easy it would be to manipulate the client and server to have an Aika type system, where the winning faction gets an artifact which raises faction stats go to winner of wars, which can be fought for later, or something among those lines?
