“A Rose in the Twilight” is about a girl waking up in a castle without color nor time. After hitting on a sleeping giant, she gets his help to flee from the castle and the “curse of the thorns”. However, it is harder than it sounds, since other dangers and tests await them. With the strength of the rose, which allows to absorb blood and simultaneously transform it into objects, the player can restore color and time of the objects. Furthermore, the strength of the giant can be used to lift or throw heavy items.
Every level of the game is a puzzle and applies the motto: “The further you go, the harder it gets. The higher the risk you take, the greater the reward.
There will be a standard edition as well as a limited edition available for the game. The latter version will come in a premium box and will also include the soundtrack, an art book, a key ring and a great stress ball. The retail editions will exclusively be available only in the NIS America online store while the download versions will be available either on the PSN or Steam store.
The game was announced to be published in autumn 2017. However, an exact date has not been confirmed so far.
