Tomb Raider has now made a change and has developed Lara Craft in the video game. What's new about her is literally her face. Focusing on: the story and the character Lara; at first glace she does not have a very attractive appearance. In a positive view, Lara had an effect on the game (see review) this change has also been produced in the film, because Lara Croft will be presented in 2018 in a remake of Tomb Raider with a new personality.
For the new film adaptation, another actress will also take the place of Lara Croft. It is none other than Oscar winner Alicia Vikander. This has been know for some time now. In a first picture, you can see how Alicia looks and acts as Lara Croft.
In the remake, we find Lara again at the age of 21, who deserves enough money. She has no perspective or future plans, takes college courses, but almost never goes. Since she wants to go her own way, she refuses to inherit her father's empire, but she does not realize that he is actually gone. After seven years, it is still not easy to solve the mysterious death of Lord Croft. Against his last will, she leaves everything behind to search for him or the truth: a legendary tomb on a mystic island somewhere along the coast of Japan. However, their mission is not as easy as expected, alone entering the island is extremely insidious. Suddenly the effort for Lara could hardly be any harder, only with her sharp mind against heavily armed men. She has to learn to go beyond her own limit as she tries to survive this dangerous adventure that could make her a true Tomb Raider.
Alicia Vikander, who can balance flinty charm with sympathetic humanism, helped keep me invested, but Tomb Raider could best be described as a solid step forward, away from past wrongs. I will be looking forward in more of this series, If Alicia will be in them.
