Fans of open world spectacle Dying Light are looking forward to expansion "The Following" that will appear before long. The size of said DLC is even expected to overcome the extent of the main story. The zombie battlefield is said to be twice as big as the one of the main game. But there is more to it than only a large map. The expansion contains new weapons, clothes and, for the first time, ridable buggies among other things.
Now, just before the release on February 9th, developer Techland announced a new hardcore mode for the game. That difficulty level is said to literally create a nightmare on earth for you. Enemies are said to be much more difficult than previously. There are advantages for co-op lovers as well: every player joining your session can get additional 10% experience. Yet, you will lose experience per death in that mode. Furthermore, you have a bigger chance of finding rare weapons in co-op mode.
A video on said nightmare mode has not been kept from us, too.
Dying Light: The Following appears on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 9th, 2016. The add-on will cost you 19.99€. For lovers of that game, it is recommended to buy the season pass including all additional content being published so far for 29,99€.
