Man Arrested for Virtual Theft in RuneScape
TimesOnline is reporting that a man, who allegedly hacked into several accounts for the MMOG RuneScape to steal virtual characters and items, has been arrested by the British Police e-Crime Unit. It is believed he obtained the log in information of various accounts by using a phishing scam, tricking unsuspecting players into giving him their personal details.

wtf?i dont think he got any "valuable" items.only some noobs got hacked.phishing is only "working" on noobs looking for hacks xD
anyway noone should be arrested for virtual goods theft unless they have a real life value.that guy got owned by the stupidity of the police xD

read the article... it has a quote from a man stating that a bag of gold or hammer or sword can be worht thousands of pounds.
but still... its runescape... its not even fully pay to play, so i agree with you. And i also agree that he prolly just hacked those that were looking to find hacks in the first place.
haha he was only given a police caution anyways.

'Virtual theft' leads to arrest
A Dutch teenager has been arrested for allegedly stealing virtual furniture from "rooms" in Habbo Hotel, a 3D social networking website.
The 17-year-old is accused of stealing 4,000 euros (£2,840) worth of virtual furniture, bought with real money.
Five 15-year-olds have also been questioned by police, who were contacted by the website's owners.

Hi,
i get arrested by using bjx but it was awesome for me... because i made all scripts on my own and i havent use the returntocity marketrepair autostore and so on i was only using like:
moveto,xxx,xxx
radius,xxx
fight
and going on the map and back in the city on my own...
and in the same time my archer and my firetao was hunting with the regular script only with some different koords but they r not arrested.

I had my main trojan standing beside the PC warehouse when i was using my minor tao. I switched back and the stupid game put me in bot jail. Now I've tried to make another character, put 110K in it and I ran BJX 1.1 on it for the last night (5-6 hours).
