Valve published a big update for shooter game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive yesterday. The patch includes, among others, new and especially clearer animations for both game characters and weapons, makes modifications regarding hitbox and provides some minor game optimizations.
For instance, the developers changed all body animations of game characters. There are several alterations regarding weapon animations as well. This applies to running, weapon change, climbing onto platforms, leaping and much more. There is even a new defuse animation. You can see the defusing kit being attached to the bomb below.
Valve has furthermore redressed an enormous problem: parts of weapons or equipment were visible through doors, walls and other surfaces. Even the hitbox was not left out. Diverse body animations were adjusted. The previous hitbox was cornered and thus posed a problem for headshots. As a result of yesterday's update, the new hitbox is more precise and also round now. Furthermore, the skeleton structure was overworked. Specific patch notes can be found here
As mentioned before, the update provided several gameplay changes. Among other things, M4A1-S is cheaper now, but it does less damage, has less armour penetration and spreads much more. Besides M4A1-S, Dual Berettas were improved. Their damage and range were increased. Aside from that, the regular price of Zeus x27 taser was reduced to $100.
