Battlefield 4: System Requirements revealed

Since Battlefield 4's date of release (October 29th) is coming closer, DICE and Electronic Arts revealed for the first time the minimum and recommended system requirements. According to following information the first-person-shooter will run even on weak hardware, such as dual core processors á 2,4GHz and 512MB graphics memory. In order to run the game at the max settings, a much better hardware is required. Those requirements can be inferred from the following picture or list.




Minimum system requirements:
  • Operating System: Windows Vista SP2 32-Bit
  • Processor: AMD Athlon X2 2,8 GHz oder Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 3870 oder Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT
  • Graphics Memory: 512 MB
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB

Recommended system requirements:
  • Operating System: Windows 8 64-Bit
  • Processor: AMD Sechskern-CPU oder Intel Vierkern-CPU
  • Memory: 8 GB
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 oder Nvidia Geforce GTX 660
  • Graphics Memory: 3 GB
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB

Gotta be ultra, High will most likely be 2gb, medium 1gb whatever is below that ~700 then 512 for the lowest setting.

This is weird.
3GB should be for resolutions SO VERY BIG. Like 2500x1300++..
I am Pretty sure a GTX 700series with 2GB would be better than a GTX 660 with 3GB for the most common resolution 1920x1080.

Yeah, I'm not sure if this is a real picture by them. Like baskete higher vram is good for higher rez. and screen size. I think you should be just fine if you have a nice GPU with 2gbs of vram

I don't know how I feel about this, I'm a huge fan of the battlefield series, and have every single disk to date of them - I just don't think forking out another £200 for an upgrade is really worth it, but, hopefully GTA V and Watch Dogs come to PC too, then there'll be a reason to upgrade.

GPU : Radeon HD 7870 4 Gb Crossfired
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 8 Gb 1600 Mhz
HDD : Caviar Blue WD 1 Tb 7200 Rpm

yes you will run it on ultra settings with 35-45 FPS 1920x1080 youre good to go

do you guys think mine will get medium to high resolution?

Cpu:Intel core i54430 3.0GHZ 6mb die3 cache(OC to 4.2 GHZ)

Well nvm, I'll be using my cheap gaming build

CPU : i3-3220 3.30ghz
GPU : EVGA GTX 660ti SC 3gb
RAM : 8gb dd3 1600mhz

If I can run bf4 on ultra preset 1080p multiplayer with pretty good fps. I'll let you guys know so people wont have to think that they have to buy a 1000$ Gaming pc in order to play bf4.

amd 6-core? was für ne genaue angabe
abgesehen davon bin ich mir rel. sicher dass es mit meiner 6870 1024MB auch auf high laufen wird

In the graphics card say AMD 7870 and graphics memory 3g but the AMD 7870 have 2gb minimum no more!

I have the AMD 7870, and all the harware is recomended but the 3g I think there is something wrong, no ??
