has alerted its users about the scheduled maintenance of the PlayStation Network
(PSN) which will take place tomorrow December 3rd.
The maintenance has been scheduled for a length of 8 hours, starting at 8am and getting to an end at 4pm (Pacific Time). Said downtime won't stop users from playing online multiplayer games at all, yet, the PlayStation Store
and PlayStation Home
won't be accessible.
“If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable, be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.”
This scheduled maintenance is done by Sony in order to improve the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita's network infrastructure.
