Fray is set in the dystopian world of 2098, where mega-corporations have risen to the point of control over all of the world’s resources. Humanity then seeks refuge in virtual worlds, such as combat module Fray. From what we can see so far, the player may choose a team of four from a selection of six classes: tank, assault, shadow, support, medic and sniper. In combat, the player goes through two phases, the definition phase and the resolution phase. In the definition phase, the player may choose to shoot, move, deploy equipment, and/or use personal or team bonuses. The resolution phase is where it all happens, each team lay down their tactics and assault, and the presence of real strategy becomes relevant.
