EA: Worst Company in America

For the second year in a row, Electronic Arts has been named the "Worst Company in America", beating Bank of America with a huge 78% of the total votes.

It is something really interesting that a company earns this title two times, and even more shocking is that the same company earns the title both times in a row!

The only declaration given by EA Chief Operating Officer, Peter Moore, was

"We could do better"

The Consumerist's 8 years-old tradition had never had a company earn this "competition" twice, so EA is making history this time by being the first company on getting it twice, and both times in a row.

It's not a surprise to me. If they keep this up, they will win the trophee permanently,
since no real change has been brought in place last year. Paying customers are treated
like database-records with fields, not people.
Just look at the policy when you re-voke payment for services or goods not delivered.
Your accounts (all accounts) linked to your credit-card are banned *automatically*
when you do that.

People have revoked payment, when they had paid for car(s) in NFSWorld which were not
accredited to their account, even after weeks (which they were told to wait). Angrily they took
their cash back and were locked out of all their EA/Origin games, which had nothing to do with
that specific transaction

well i actually think EA release their games with many bugs and glitches and put the fix file in the DLC

I just hate Origin, their platform is annoying and their support hard to reach most of the time.

I had to wait almost 3 hours for their help and when i managed to ask them for help they said to call their 2nd support on their number

It's no wonder that they've earned this title. I mean, their games are awesome, I play Fifa 13 and sometimes BFH. But the updates are always the same: Nothing great for the player, no instead always those f*cking money updates, which are nothing but annoying.

EA has won this 2 years in a row
and they still plan to do the same to all incoming games(DLC included on games, pay to activate/incomplete games=> pay to complete them)
and we still buy some of their games
and yes, Origin sucks
