Dragon City Guide
Elements
Dragon City Dragon ElementsThere are 8 basic elements for the dragons in the game. They are Terra, Flame, Sea, Nature, Electric, Ice, Metal and Dark. Once you have gotten some rare dragons such as Cool Fire or Soccer Dragon, you will have a chance to breed a new type called the Legendary and later on Pure dragons.
Habitats
Now each element has their own habitats. Each habitat has their own pros and cons. The initial Terra habitat has a low gold cap(500) but the terra dragon has high gold/min earned. The sea habitat has a higher gold cap(7500) but the sea dragon has low gold/min potential. The solution would be to breed both together to get either the mud or waterfall dragon so that they can be put in the sea habitat.
As you can tell from the chart, Flame, Sea, Ice, Nature, Metal, Dark and of course Legendary have decent gold caps. To earn plenty of gold, you will want to put most of your dragons in the above habitats. Unless you are an active player, I would not recommend having too many Terra habitats at all. One will do.
Gold
You earn gold by putting your dragons in the habitat. Each dragon earns a certain amount of gold/min. To increase the amount of gold/min they earn, you will have to level up your little babies by feeding them food.
Food
In order to feed your dragons, you will have to build farms. Farms can be upgraded later to grow more food.
The most efficient way to use your gold to grow food at the beginning is the 30 second dragon bell. Once you get a lot of gold, it doesn’t matter which food you grow.
Experience
A great way to gain experience is to keep buying a farm and selling it again. As long as you have gold, you can gain experience easily by doing it over and over again.
Buy Food Farm -> 100 gold and 100 Exp -> Sell Food Farm -> 50 gold = Total cost for 100 Exp is 50 gold.
You can also do that for the Big Food Farm and Huge Food Farm.
Level
Each level you gain gives you 1 gem and unlocks new habitats after you get to a certain level.
Gems(How to get gems in Dragon City)
This is the quick way to get everything. You can buy gems with real money and speed up EVERYTHING. However, that would totally destroy the fun. Besides using real money, you can also earn them in game. Here are a few methods in which you can get gems:
1) Participate in the Dragon League Tournament in the Combat World located at the bottom right of the game screen. You use your dragons to fight other player’s dragons. Once you win the tourney, you will be awarded 2 gems and some gold. You can combat 3 players every 6 hours, so use it whenever you can!
2) Build a Dragon Stadium and use your dragons to fight in it. Each tournament you win gives you 2 gems and some gold.
3) The daily bonus reward located on the right side of the game screen gives you a small chance to win 45 gems. I have yet to win it once, so good luck with that.
4) Leveling up gives you 1 gem.
5) Participate in surveys to earn gems. Some might require credit card/personal information. Not a good way if you are not willing to give out info.
6) The Monday reward gives you 4 gems if you pick the right prize.
Buildings
The important buildings that you will need to get after you get to the later levels are:
Breeding Mountain: This is the building you use to breed dragons.
Food Farm: You will need food to level your little babies.
Dragon Stadium: Allows you to increase your dragon’s strength and gain gems.
Temples: These will allow your dragons to advance past level 10.
Magic Temple: Dragons can get to level 15.
Noble Temple: Dragons can get to level 20.
Knight Temple: Dragons can get to level 25.
Master Temple: Dragons can get to level 30. (Requires 25 gems to build this)
Ultra Breeding Tree: This is another alternative to the breeding mountain. While it is not necessary, it can help speed up your breeding process.
Crystals: These can help improve your gold earning rate/min. However, the legendary dragons are much better than building crystals once you get your hands on one of them.
Expanding
Expanding your territory becomes a necessity once you have way too many habitats.
The first 6 expansion is free and it will start to cost gold/gems/neighbors as you try to get the next island. You will also have to clear stones, trees or rocks along the way.

Social Empires Guide
Social Empires is a popular Facebook strategy, city building, and war game from the ever-expanding genre of social war games. What makes Social Empires different from the other social war games is the open-endedness and freedom of play, as you don't have to worry about conserving energy in this game, because there is no energy meter. You are limited only by your resources, population and gold, all of which can be increased depending on what you do. You can build up your own empire, increase your population, defeat all of the enemy trolls in your territory, and invade other empires and steal their gold and resources, as well as build up experience levels rapidly. With my strategies, you'll have the most powerful army and empire in Social Empires.
Your most valuable resource, out of all of the resources that you can get in the game, is wood. With wood, you can keep your farms running which gives you food, which allows you to continue building your population by making more villagers and soldiers. Also, many of the buildings that you can build cost only wood to build - buildings that cost you gold to buy won't come up until later in the game, and even then they will be few and far between.
When you take a villager out to chop wood, you can only chop 3 at a time; however, this means you can only have 3 trees waiting to be chopped at one time (I.E. with the yellow glow around them after clicking them). To get around this, simply wait until one of the three trees is chopped (has the wood icon above it, ready to collect), then click another one that hasn't been chopped. Keep doing this and your villager can chop unlimited amounts of wood in a much quicker time, but make sure to only click the ones that your villager can get to. Take your villager to the nearest forest and then click all of the outside trees in this manner. Then, once they're all chopped, collect on them, and chop down the next layer. Keep it going until the forest is all chopped down, and then move on to the next forest. This is a quick and easy way to collect lots of wood.
When you're under attack by trolls when this is happening, but you don't have soldiers and villagers in place to defend against the trolls, close out of the Social Empires browser window, and then reopen it, and all of the trolls will be back in their starting spots. Do this and you won't lose any of your population when trolls attack and you aren't ready.
When you're attacking trolls, keep your soldiers and villagers from attacking the wooden walls around the troll villages. They give you absolutely nothing for destroying them, they take forever to destroy, and there is always a way around them, meaning you can focus your population's attack power on destroying trolls, defense towers, and troll buildings instead.
Invading other villages is the best way to gain large amounts of gold and experience points, but even if you level up your barracks and other soldier-training areas, don't even bother attacking other villages unless you're taking a large army with you. With the massive amounts of gold you can earn from attacking other empires, you can go to the marketplace and buy anything you need (such as wood or stones) far more quickly than you can replace it on your own without the marketplace. Once your army is large enough to successfully attack other empires without doing in your entire army, invasions should be your primary focus in the game, even before destroying the new troll villages which pop up while you're playing. However, if you're running low on wood and can't buy more in the marketplace due to too many uses that day, always have a villager chop down the nearest forest.
Don't be afraid to abandon an invasion if you know it's not going to go well or you're completely overmatched. It's better to earn less and keep your army than to get your entire army destroyed and to use up precious resources. Sometimes, you can even destroy what (and who) you can, earn a good amount of experience points, and then leave while you still have a good chunk of your army left, so that you aren't using all of your newly earned gold and resources on rebuilding.

Social Wars Spoiler
How To Play Social Wars
Social Wars on Facebook is very much like Social Empires but the game is just as good. Players start off in one small base and need to expand and grow their small empire. This game uses modern units such as riflemen and tanks while Social Empires used medieval units such as knights.
The game has several resources that the player needs to collect so they can build a number of structures in the game. Structures have various levels to them and as you advance in the game you can upgrade your structures. These upgraded structures provide better units or increase the output of game resources.
Social Wars also features quests and "chapters." During a chapter you'll fight against NPCs on your game map. Social Wars also features a number of game play options as well. You can enter the game world and fight other Facebook players or fight NPCs in a series of missions. There's also some challenging weekly missions to play as well.
In the future alliances will come to the game and give players even more replay value. Let's look at the resources you can collect in Social Wars to fuel your growing army
Social Wars Guide: The Resources
In Social Wars you need to collect gold, wood, oil, and steel. On the game map there are several of these resources that you can collect using workers. You can build workers in the command center. The resources are quite limited on the game map but they do replenish over time.
To speed up resource collection you can build mines and factories in your base. These mines structures use a worker to extract the resources and over time you'll collect enough resources to build up your base. As you gain experience you can upgrade these resource structures to higher levels. If a level 1 structure is in your base you can upgrade it to level 2 for example or just buy a level 2 structure.
Other ways to gain resources are to attack enemy bases and take the resources away in those locations. You can gain extra gold and experience points this way as well.
