Itemtype.dat
i kinda need help with hexing it i want to add 4 or 5 new items to it but i dont want to use any itemtype editor cuz it messez up the itemtype so can any1 help me and show me how to?

easyest way is to add it using the editor then copy it in :P

ty for telling him what i wanted and thats the problem there arent alot of ppl that can edit it by hex

if u send me ur itemtype.dat and the ids of the items and what they are i will add them for you no problem leave me a pvt msg on here

As someone said it screws with your skills. After using an editor you then have to hex edit the itemtype to fix the information so that the skills work properly. It basically adds more work than needed.

yeah make a guide on how to add a new item alot of ppl will be gratefull and will thank you

lol i will have a go at it but i really suck at giving instructions, but i think there is a guide on here somewhere as so how to add an item i'm not sure, or we could just team view and u can watch  that way u get to see how it is done and get ur items added at the same time.

I need an +1 itemtype, wich shows on the ground +1 items! I tried to use search but i only found itemtype eich shows elite/super. please help :?
