[Guide] How to install chinese PRC to translate

Hello, today we will install Chinese PRC so that you can view Chinese and translate it, example would be to translate cq_action

Step 1:

Make sure you have your windows cd handy, you will need it.

Step 2:

Open your Computers Control Panel and look for "Regional and Language Options"



Step 3:
Once you have that opened click on the tab at top that says "Languages".

Make sure you have the box checked next to "Install files for East Asian Languages"



Step 4:

Next click on the tab at the top that says "Advanced".

Where the drop down menu is, click that and choose "Chinese (PRC)".



Step 5:

Hit Apply, and it should as you to put your windows cd in and it will install the languages.


If done correctly you will now beable to view Chinese symbols. If you already have a database installed, it may not work as expected because your computer has already changed the Chinese symbols to foreign symbols.

To fix this just use a test server to install the database and you can related from your test server to your true server.

when i select chinese (prc) at the advance in the regional and language options, i press apply....but it gt error...it say setup was unable to install the chosen locale.please contact your system administrator....how come lidat?mean i cnt change to prc?
