herewith the board-administration wants to point out this forum's rules for you in order to prevent chaos and to ensure a peaceful atmosphere between members.

We ask you to pay attention to these rules and also to follow them. Otherwise the board's staff will have to take measures to prevent you from violating rules which means infractions and in the worst case bans.

We also want to give you some additional information for special cases which occur from time to time.

- RULES / CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS -

• if you post files which include trojans / keyloggers etc you definitely will get banned instantly
  
• if you flame / insult other members you will get an infraction
  
• if you post a question thread in a release section (which is marked with [NO QUESTIONS]) you get a warning / infraction (if it was your first time you'll get a warning , if you continue doing this you'll get an infraction)
  
• referrer links are forbidden; if you post one it will be considered spam and will end up in an infraction
  
• advertising without a link back to elitepvpers is forbidden and will be punished with an infraction (warning if it's for the first time)
  
• Advertising similar sites as elitepvpers is forbidden and will result in a ban (it doesn't matter if you've put a backlink on that site).
  
• Advertising your own forum hosted at a free-forum provider is not allowed.
  
• Posting a link to your Facebook page is only allowed if you have publicly liked elitepvpers. It does not make any difference whether you like elitepvpers by using the button provided on our website, or doing it directly via Facebook.
  
• if you post racist comments, you will receive an infraction (a ban in extreme cases)
  
• Baiting other members is forbidden, if you have a problem with another member please use our complaint forum to solve the conflict. Furthermore we consider all scammer accusations to be baiting, no matter what proofs you have. Complaint Area/e*gold Support is your place to go in such situations.
  
• if you want to chat about non-game-related stuff, go to the Off-Topic and post there, but remember that even the off-topic is not a unlegislated area! Going off-topic in other areas will end up in infractions / warnings
  
• posts which only contain terms like "#reported/#closerequest" etc., without being constructive are considered spam (punishment accordingly)
  
• posting warez is forbidden, the violation of this rule usually leads to an infracton for the first time and a ban if you continue; requesting warez also is not allowed, if you do so you'll get an infraction
  
• doubleposting, or pushing up really old topics is not allowed and ends up in an infraction / a warning
  
• using survey download mirrors (e.g. sharecash) is prohibited unless there is another mirror option
  
• posting pornopraphic content (no matter what your definition of pornographic content is) will be punished with an infraction and in harder cases a ban
  
• We do not support gambling for money. Accordingly all gambling-threads which require payment for participation are prohibited. Gambling for free (actually it's just sharing) is still allowed. elitepvpers stands for free sharing
  
• using any avatar/signature/usertitle which could make members think you are a member of the staff though you are not, is forbidden and is to be punished with an infraction or in harder cases a ban
  
• abusing your avatar by adding fake or custom ranks/badges isn't allowed
  
• abusing the thanks-system is prohibited; you are not allowed to sell or buy thanks from another member, only give thanks for useful posts!
  
• if you have 3 active infraction-points you will receive a ban

- SIGNATURE RULES -

• The general board rules also apply to signatures!
• The overall dimensions of a signature may not be too large. Simply use the following picture as a reference, if you signature is smaller than this, it is okay in terms of dimensions:

• No referral links. Exceptions so far: MyBrute, Pokeplushies and the likes of them. When linking one of the latter, it must be obvious what the link is about (e.g. using an official game banner is okay, whereas using a text link that says "Click and get a free Ferrari!" is not).
• A signature should not be looking displeasingly, i.e. you are not to use extremely large fonts or bright colors excessively as well as flashing animated images and such.
• Restrictions regarding images in signatures:
  • You may use up to two images, but these combined max not exceed a height of 200px (e.g. two banners with the size of 200 x 100px).
  • You may use additional images when put in a spoiler.
  • The maximum file size of an image is 300kB.

Should your signature not comply with any of these rules, expect to be given a warning (or an infraction on consecutive violations) and your signature being deleted.


- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / MISCELLANEOUS -

• the administration won't ban you after you request it; if you want to leave the forum just deactivate any kind of e-mail-feature in your User CP and don't visit the forum anymore
  
• if you have any kind of problems with the forum or the staff you can post it here: Complaint Area
  
• multi-accounting (having more than 1 non-banned account here) is forbidden and results in a ban of all accounts
  
• in case your statistics are being forged (thankspush etc) by yourself (referral to multiaccounting) you will get banned; if they are being forged by someone else without you having your hands on it please report it to an administrator;
  
• in extreme cases (a member receives one ban after another and returns everytime just to spread chaos again) the administration can issue a restraining order which will prevent you from using this forum by law, which often is connected with financial costs
  

Alright, that's it. If you pay attention to these rules everything will be fine and a good atmosphere is garantueed.

hiermit gibt die Administration die offiziellen Forum-Regeln bekannt, um ein Chaos bestmöglich zu verhindern und um eine gute Atmosphäre unter den Membern zu versichern.

Bitte beachtet und befolgt diese Regeln, denn sonst muss das Moderatorenteam mit entsprechenden Maßnahmen handeln, um euch davon abzuhalten Regeln zu brechen, d.h. Infractions oder im schlimmsten Fall Bans.

Zudem werden hier weitere Informationen für spezielle Fälle/Situationen angegeben, die von Zeit zu Zeit vorkommen.

• Wenn du Fragen hast, die du im Forum nicht stellen willst, kannst du einem Moderator eine PN schicken; er wird sein Bestes tun, um dir zu helfen

- REGELN / STRAFENKATALOG -

• Postest du Dateien, die Trojaner / Keylogger etc. enthalten erhälst du mit sofortiger Wirkung einen Ban
  
• Solltest du andere Member flamen / beleidigen erhälst du eine Infraction
  
• Stellst du eine Frage in einer Release-Sektion (markiert mit [NO QUESTIONS]) bekommst du eine Infraction (falls es dein erstes mal ist zunächst eine Warning)
  
• Refferer-Links sind verboten; solltest du einen posten heißt die Strafe Infraction
  
• Posts, in denen du für andere Websites etc. wirbst sind verboten, es sei denn die Seite enthält einen Backlink zu elitepvpers; bei Verstoß: Infraction (beim ersten Mal Warning)
  
• Das werben für ähnliche Seiten wie elitepvpers ist verboten und wird mit einem Ban bestraft (auch wenn ein backlink platziert ist).
  
• Das werben für dein eigenes Forum welches von einem Free-Forum Provider gehostet wird ist nicht gestattet.
  
• Das Posten von Links zu eurer Facebook Seite ist nur bei öffentlich sichtbarem elitepvpers-like gestattet. Es spielt dabei keine Rolle, ob ihr dazu den "gefällt mir" Button auf unserer Webseite verwendet, oder das ganze direkt über Facebook erledigt.
  
• Rassistische Postings werden nicht toleriert; der Verstoß wird mit einer Infraction oder einem Ban gestraft
  
• Hetze gegen andere Mitglieder zu führen ist verboten, falls ein Problem mit einem anderen Mitglied vorliegt sollte unser Complaint Forum benutzt werden um dies zu lösen. Weiterhin sei gesagt, dass mit "Hetze" auch sämtliche Scammer-Anschuldigungen gemeint sind, ungeachtet der Beweislage. Auch da richtet ihr euch an die Complaint Area/den e*gold Support.
  
• Diskussionen unabhängig von Games sind lediglich im Off-Topic erlaubt (beachte: Auch das OT ist kein rechtsfreier Raum!); Driftest du woanders zu stark vom Thema ab, wirst du mit einer Infraction verwarnt
  
• Posts, die nur "#reported/#closerequest" etc. enthalten, ohne zum Thema beizutragen, werden als Spam angesehen und entsprechend geahndet
  
• Das Posten von Warez (illegaler Software) ist verboten; Strafmaß in der Regel eine Infraction beim ersten Mal, ein Ban bei Fortführen solcher Postings; Achtung: Auch das Anfragen nach Warez wird mit einer Infraction bestraft!
  
• Doppelposten oder das Pushen von wirklich veralteten Threads nur zum Spaß wird mit einer Infraction geahndet (einer Warning beim ersten Mal)
  
• Das Nutzen von Survey Downloadmirrors (z.B. Sharecash) ist verboten, solange keine andere Downloadoption angeboten wird
  
• Das Posten von pornographischen Inhalten (ungeachtet deiner Definition von Pornographie) bedeutet eine Infraction (in harten Fällen einen Ban) für dich
  
• Wir unterstützen kein Glücksspiel mit Geld. Das hat zur Folge, dass alle Losbuden und dergleichen verboten sind, solange man für die Teilnahme etwas bezahlen muss. Kostenfreie Losbuden sind weiterhin erlaubt. elitepvpers steht für freies Sharing.
  
• Das Benutzen von Avataren/Signaturen/Usertiteln, welche den Anschein erwecken könnten, dass ihr ein Mitglied des Forum-Teams seid, ist verboten und wird mit einer Infraction oder in härteren Fällen einem Ban geahndet
  
• Der Missbrauch des Avatars zum fälschen von Rängen oder zum hinzufügen von selbstkreierten Rängen ist verboten.
  
• Der Missbrauch des Thanks-Systems ist untersagt; das Kaufen oder Verkaufen von Thanks ist nicht erlaubt, vergebt Thanks nur für nützliche Posts!
  
• Habt ihr 3 aktive Infraction-Points angesammelt, werdet ihr gebannt
  
  
• Grundsätzlich gilt obiges System immer. Es ist jedoch ein weiteres System vorgesehen, welches in Spezialfällen greift. Spezialfälle sind durch den "Accountwert" definiert, welcher wiederum durch folgende Faktoren definiert ist:
  
  * Release-Aktivität und -Nutzen (über den Wert der Releases wird in der Administration entschieden)
  * Besitz an e*gold
  * Position (z.B. Moderator bzw. Ex-Moderator)
  * Allg. Aktivität (bedingt durch obige Faktoren, d.h. Aktivität allein reicht nicht aus)
  
  
  Des weiteren berücksichtigen wir etwaige ehrliche Entschuldigungen bzw. Reue nach begangener Straftat, einfach im Sinne der Menschlichkeit.
  
  Zum Verständnis:
  Die Boardleitung muss in manchen Fällen zu speziellen Methoden greifen, einfach aus dem Grund, dass Mitglieder, auch wenn sie Straftaten begehen bis zu einer gewissen Grenze hin mehr Nutzen für die Community haben, wenn sie nicht gesperrt sind. Wir wollen dieses Thema offen behandeln, damit nicht die Rede von Korruption usw. ist. Bei wem wir dieses spezielle System anwenden ist Entscheidung der Administration, welche dann auch auf entsprechenden Member zu geht und nicht umgekehrt.

- SIGNATUR-REGELN -

• Die allgemeinen Forenregeln gelten auch für Signaturen!
• Die gesamten Abmessungen einer Signatur dürfen nicht zu groß sein. Orientiert euch dabei einfach am folgenden Bild, ist eure Signatur kleiner, ist diese in Bezug auf die Größe in Ordnung:

• Keine Referral-Links. Ausnahmen sind bislang: MyBrute, Pokeplushies und dergleichen. Wenn ihr eine von letzteren verlinkt muss klar ersichtlich sein, um was für einen Link es sich handelt (Die Verwendung eines offiziellen Spielbanners ist beispielsweise in Ordnung, ein Text Link welcher besagt "Klicke und erhalte einen kostenlosen Ferrari!" ist es hingegen nicht).
• Eine Signatur sollte nicht unangenehm aussehen, das heißt ihr solltet keine extrem großen Schriftarten oder helle Farben in übertriebenem Maße einsetzen, genauso wenig wie blinkende animierte Bilder und ähnliches.
• Einschränkungen in Bezug auf Bilder in Signaturen:
  • Ihr dürft bis zu zwei Bilder verwenden, allerdings dürfen diese zusammen eine Höhe von 200px nicht überschreiten (also beispielsweise zwei Banner à 200 x 100px).
  • Ihr dürft weitere Bilder verwenden, sofern diese in einem Spoiler platziert werden.
  • Die maximale Dateigröße eines Bildes beträgt 300kB.

Sollte deine Signatur gegen eine dieser Regeln verstoßen, kannst du mit einer Warnung (oder einer Verwarnung bei einem Folgeverstoß), sowie der Löschung deiner Signatur rechnen.


- ZUSATZINFORMATIONEN / VERSCHIEDENES -

• Wenn du Teil des e*PvP-Teams sein willst, kannst du dich hier bewerben: Joining e*PvP; Bitte lies dir aber vorher die Stickies dort durch!

• Die Administration wird dich nicht auf Anfrage deinerseits bannen; Wenn du das Forum verlassen möchtest, deaktiviere einfach alle e-Mail-Benachrichtigungen und besuche das Forum nicht mehr
  
• Sollte es Probleme mit dem Forum oder den Forum-Mitarbeitern geben kannst du es hier erläutern: Complaint Area
  
• Multi-Accounting (das Benutzen von mehreren nicht gebannten Accounts gleichzeitig) ist verboten und resultiert in der Bannung aller Accounts
  
• Für den Fall, dass deine Profilstatistiken von dir (Verweis auf Multiaccountregelung) verfälscht werden (Thankspush etc.), wirst du gebannt; wenn sie von jemand Anderem verfälscht werden, ohne dass du deine Finger im Spiel hast, bitte berichte dies einem Administrator;
  
• In extremen Fällen (ein Member, der mehrfach gebannt wird, jedoch jedes Mal wiederkehrt, nur um erneut Chaos zu stiften) kann die Administration ein Hausverbot aussprechen, was euch per Gesetz daran hindert das Forum zu nutzen, was auch oft mit Kosten verbunden ist

So, das war's. Wenn ihr all das beachtet steht der optimalen Nutzung des Forums nichts im Wege.
