Don't think so, I mean he said that you can't bump your own thread with posts, so I think posts will no longer affect bumping threads.

It will be nice indeed to avoid bump spamming

Nope, gangbangingbumping will also not be possible anymore, which means friends of the thread owner can't pretend to be interested in a trade just to bump his topic.

It will only affect the TBM, PServer Advertising and the Tutorial forums.

This new bumping system sound great!
But if I post a thread and users reply to it, the thread won't jump up to the top again?
If not, this will surely make things alot harder to buy/sell/trade stuff on TBM.

The whole idea of someone else bumping ur thread
is that you can get a new order when ur last one is finished.
(Due they leave feedback.)

You often finish a order quicker then 24h.

This removes this option 100%.

Tbh, see no advantage (other then epvp staff get more $)

If you have issues with people using fake bumps, award people who report it.

Just my few cents.

Unless you don't state it in your thread feedback should always be voluntary. By telling them to leave feedback everytime you're unfair because other users just bump it 24h/4h.
If a customer is interested he can always contact you and can ask you if you're free.
Or you write it into your topic if you're free.

There's no need for a customer posting something.

Bascially that's what Luke said:

The new system is a lot fairer.

People leave feedback as they want.
And in my experince people wanna have their voice heard.
Or even if you ask for it, as i did here :
It's still voluntary.

If i did a great job, they wanna share it to others, if I did a terrible job or scammed someone, they wanna warn others.
Even tho mods will remove it

I really don't understand how you can think its unfair to ask for feedback on the work you've done.

Cant 'couse then I have to wait 24h, while a lot of orders get finished before 24h. =)

I dont wanna be rude, but that comment, proving that you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

That's the most important thing a company can ask for :

Feedback.

The reason I've reached success on EPVP, is due Im trying to make every client happy, and by customers leaving feedback and telling others, I get more clients.
If nobody would ever post some feedback, what would be the diffrence between me, and everyother booster (for example) on EPVP?

Might be, but its definitely not to better for a active seller.
And that's definitely not the reason this got added, the big $ was.

A lot of factors, but not really that hard to find if you're a long time user on EPVP.
I find like 5-10 on a daily basis. But I quit reporting anything on EPVP due it feels useless.

I love how you didnt comment on the "EPVP making huge profit" statement.

Dont get me wrong, I have no issue with EPVP wanna earn some bucks, but dont tell us it's for our own good.

Anyway, I wont continue this discussion, becouse it wont get anywhere.

And it definitely wont do me any favors, haha.

It was still a possibility for sellers to "early bump" their threads.
I've never said that feedback is forbidden.

If you just re-read the announcement you'll read that some sort of feedback of a customer or just your message that you're free is not affecting the bump time. Because now we've got the bump button and posts don't bump the thread anymore.

I wanted to say: A customer can also give you feedback via TBM. But a text in the thread is fine. Yes, you're right on that.

As it seems to me you don't fully understand the system or the changes we made. Basically the bump button changed nothing on bump times. Posts won't affect the bump and users can finally use their e*gold for something more - for their own profit. e*gold gets more valuable again. So how is that bad for active sellers?

If you've got questions feel free to ask them.

You wont be able to bump your thread ealier then 24h.

You wont be able to do more then 1 work every 24h.

Before you could get new work by the old customer left feedback, and you could start on a new. Before 24h.

Simple as that.

Now you cant.

= less customers.

If you dont throw money into EPVP's pocket.

Which isnt guaranteed you get work.

Anyway peace out.

Thats a valid point, but in that case user with more feedback/questions in their thread are more often bumped to the top => reach more users => more feedback/questions => rinse and repeat

I think, with the new system it will be a bit more fair, especially for newer traders
and will help overall with rule violations (also good for newer traders)
