working sql

hi ive switched to a new server configuration with windows server 2003 R2 64bit. Nice and fast etc BUT the big problem atm is sql server 2000 cant be installed on this machine! there is sp4 wich supports 64 bit but how to apply a service pack if the application itself cant be installed?


So my question is is there any other method to use rather then sql server 2000 for the dekaron database?

mssql 2005 or 2008
or a 64bit mssql

2005, but 2008 asks HIGH pc specs

2005 looks pretty good but its way different then 2000 ,nice gui to.

Intel Dual Xeon 3.6Ghz
Cores 2 w/ HyperThreading
Memory 8GB
Hard Drive 2 x 73GB SCSI 10K RAID1
winserver 2003 R2 64 bits
