[Release + Tut] Dekaron Auto-Updater

This Updater was Original developed for Dekaron Oasis. I had started development on it, and put it off when I left the Dekaron scene. I'm back now, and I finished it today.

This is v8.

Version 9 was released! You can now move the Updater around.

Version 10 will be Enter & Leaving images for the two buttons. Start & Exit.

Open up Windows Media Player or another Video player that can stream videos

Some how i can't play the video correctly, there is no Video all i get is the sound, Do I Need Any Special Codec to play this video? thanks

Ahh yes. I forgot to mention that. I do a lot of Media work.

Google and download the CCCP Pack.

CCCP = Combined Community Codec Pack. Its a huge package of codecs, for free

Hey...

I just have one single question about this Updater: Its seems to work perfect, the form opens, it shows the server status and version, but when i click on start, it just says it cannot find the file. I dunno how, cos i'm sure i wrote the path correct and everything else.

Could it be that it doesn't work on Vista x64?

Edit: I found the mistake by myself... I just placed der serverconfigs in the wrong folder (defined my Webserver-Folder by myself)

Show me what the path of your file is. You can't do this;

BAD Path:

GOOD Path:

It works for me, and I honestly can't tell you what went wrong.

Also, if you're having issues with the Apache setup, use Xampp. I'm a linux user, so my update server is a Linux box =/

I'm sorry for not making a better tutorial. Been busy with homework. I've got to read 7 chapters in 3 different books by Friday, and do more programming on the Dekaron Emu's...
