How to make a Counter Strike 1.6 NoSteam server

when i copy swds.dll in HLDS directory. . . first The Server can't be started it say somethingl like blabla, exiting. . . and when i open cdm write cd C:\HLDS <enter> sp nowon.s swds.dll <enter> it say command "sp" is not recognized. . . PLZZ help. . .

when im pasting this line hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game valve -dir . to cmd
it says failed to cannect to any general directoryserver, winsock error 10061 "connection refused"

and i wanna change it to protocol 47-48
if that means that players who have protocol 47 can play it
ps:im playing cs 1.6 but when i see my server in the game the game says (counter strike source
???
so what is up with that

Hmmm,

I was wondering if you got a patch for the server be protocol 47 and 48. So by this way, steam and Non-steam client can play.

Why do you put sv_lan 1 if you want online server ?

And one more question ... how can i make the server 47 protocol ... i dont want it to be 48...

Im running a few servers currently 1 steam 2 non-steam i tried many patches non work so currently im using p47 and when protocal 48 users-steam players try to connect they say server using older protocal do u have a patch for this?- NOTE this is linux platform!

Ok guys sorry for not updating this but I simply forgot about this , I added "Changing protocols " (48 , 47-48) for both platforms

This server is using a newer protocol ( 48 ) than your client ( 47 ). You should check for updates to your client

NVM lol i replace the files again. now its p47 BUt i will ask my fren who uses legit steam to try connect l8r/// BTW im from diff timezone so..

"Fatal Error
Couldn't allocate dedicated server IP port 27015"
