The point is in 90% of all stolen sources cases it ware members from the crew and in the crew they gotta have the source and the password so its something about trust bec you cannot do an private sever project alone maybe if you are something like a living computer but normaly no you need like 2 or another guy who helps you with the tech stuff and if that guy gets enough from you he can just leave you and use the source for himself or just release it.
