Agreed, while I was very much into CO PServers I actually developed this system but source got deleted after a virus. This was what it done:
Sent you to a NON-PK map where a serveral NPC's were, where you could buy sup +12 -7 2 sdg/spg equipments. When you was done, you was sent to the actual deathmatch map, with all your equipment ready and ready to fight. Whenever you died, you had to wait 2-3 seconds then you would automatically be revived at the spot, and have a 3 second "spawn-protection", so noone could kill you directly after you revived.
Also, no stamina is reduced in this map, and you can not cast fly/scatter/firecircle.
So basically people could go on and on playing. I also made a system, almost like this one, but you had 10 lives, when you had no more lives you was sent out and last man standing won.
Why is this system any good?
Well, people would probably want to train their skill, and play with their mates without having to wait 20 seconds to revive, then jump back to the map.
