[Question] Old jumps for Ninjas

Hey community

I'm workin on a 5165 server. and i wonder if there is a possibility to add the OLD jumps to ninjas?

For sure i know how it works for adding them to every other class.. but ninjas?

ninjas were I THINK made in the 5070+ patch if not 5080+ meaning it didnt have an "old" jump like u say lol...it was specifically coded so it can only jump like it jumps now O_O...if u want u can "create" a new jump for it which is not that hard but for me yea lmao...

There is no old jump for ninjas. You MAY be able to give them old jumps by renaming one of the existing jump files to overwrite the ninja ones (eg: old trojan jumps)

That's the only real option (outside of custom animation files + cracking tq's file formats for animations... and if you can get that in depth then you have no place in the co pserver community lol!) because ninjas never existed when old jumps did.

he would need to change mesh and actions, the way they hold katanas :P

hm.. as far as i know, the ninja jump is coded into the katana weapons themselves... it would be very hard to change unless you made weapons that can be held like a trojan (but that doesn't look as good =p). I think you should either keep the new jump and the ninja or delete them both and go back to an older patch. Ninja's aren't meant to be coded for the older jump.

Well it depends what you do with them. Like, if you delete fog then it's not as bad. They are still pretty bad but I think that the Archer Bane skill is very fair. It all depends on how you handle the characters and skills in your server. =]
