5017 Client crash

hello..

I've setup a 5017 pserver and everything seems fine. I've downloaded the 5017 client on Fangs client thread and used CIDloader for it. I could creat a account but always if i want to enter now the client crashes any reason why?

Did you use 127.0.0.1 as IP by any chance? Otherwise try to use ConquerLoaderV5

I've used my hamachi ip. Ok i'm gonna try that..

PS. also not working i can't connect and if u edit the server.dat it's the server.dat which is damaged..

You should edit LoaderSet.ini when using ConquerLoaderV5. However make sure the ports matches, I think it's 9958 for auth at 5017.

I know but it's not working. I also have to edit the Server.dat which contains 50 Servers.. if u edit Server Medusa for example and change the IP to mine the Server.dat will be damaged..

Do you get any particular error messages? Also don't edit server.dat

No I don't get any error messages.. just used ConquerLoader V5 and didn't edited the Server.dat but Client still crashes =/

It could be due to invalid packets, since the client crashes on that. All I can think of now is a cryptography problem. What source are you using?

Could you go to the "debug" folder in your client and paste the .log files if there is any.

I'm using Re-UnitedCo 5017 Source. Source side seems to be fine i didn't get any error messages on debugging..

paste the files where?

just used another source and now is everything working fine dunno what the prob was.. thanks anyways for your help
