I cannot install this

When i try to install any hacks just like it says (for the game Conquer) it automatically starts them with the game (conquer). How can i change it. I cannot install any hacks just because of this. Pls help!

there r so many hacks for CO, be specific when u r asking for help. but i think maybe it's cuz u extracted those hacks in the main CO folder?
