Dissconnecting someone

I propose that we branch this conversation into PServer Dev. I also propose that we write a filtering proxy to prevent invalid packet disconnects. What do ya think Ultima?

hehe or u know u could use that armor.ini glitch that happened in co 1 where those dumb noobs would sit in the market spawn once u went through gc and u would dc :P

its not a client bug its a server bug so you cant filter it and it wont work on the pserver

if i am right of cause^^

a funny thing i forgot to mention if there is noone on the screen you will disconnect yourself^^

*Sighs* I would like to know how to do it so I can DC people who are sitting in the market with nothing in their invitory to sell. Beacause then they are just taking up space, and I have to wait forever for a spot.

I don't think anyone will tell you, because it is so obvious that you are going to exploit it.

it might be that the guy edited his trade icon to make it so that when he trades with other people it will make a trade and a marry question at the same time, possibly disconnecting the victim.

i dont see any possiblilitys how he can make EVERYone in the whole screen d\c at once though

lol dont want newbs exploiting things start not letting em get to the site lol, umm but ya ultima to me it seemed sorta like the d/c thing is sorta russian roullette style you could end up d/cing yourself along with everyone else or not even dcing the person you want but the poor guy next to him care to explain a little more without giving out too much info

@Sokar, I dont mind if he releases a packet structure or something that average joe isnt going to be able to download and click to **** everybody up with.
