make shortcut to conquer.exe and edit it's properties. It'll say something like this

"C:\Program Files\Conquer2.0\Conquer.exe"

change it to

"C:\Program Files\Conquer2.0\Conquer.exe" blacknull

Your client must be screwed or ya not doing it properly.
